Well as the ball started, people started coming mostly couples and we know the reason why.

Guem was just existing as he had nothing to do, his little brother and his wife were missin.
He was just happy that his little brother's wife 's twin was also missing.
It was feeling great that that guy was not there to annoy the shit out of him.

My man was waiting for his cupid to arrive.

That's when she arrived.

Dahyun's pov

Oh man, I feel like everyone is staring at me, I mean I am wearing very bright colour.

Well could've done anything else because this the only good dress I own, but what can you expect, if I had money I wouldn't be working like this *🙄*

Fun fact this dress has a history, It was a very cliche' time of my life, you can even imagine me as the main character of the story which everyone reads, where the female lead is poor and is being arranged to marry a rich boy -

I think we have an idea of that story no need to elaborate.

So I was a girl from a poor family, (obviously) So I was about to get married of to this rich boy who I didn't even know existed but turns out he was living in my neighborhood the whole time.

Then, I was told that he was that one boy who "accidentally" Ate birds shit thinking it was milk?
That doesn't even makes sense-

But anyways I didn't want to be married to that weird guy so I ran away, almost crashed someone's funeral on the way but it's really not a big deal-
So this dress was for my marriage, but yeah.

I was having this nostalgic memories hit me like a truck that's when I saw The prince Guem Jae looking at me, sometimes I swear he has crush on me, then I wake up to reality.

But man he was looking at least presentable

Author Pov

"You made it." Guem spoke first.
" Umm yeah I guess " Dahyun responded back.

There was a awkward silence between them, both of them were thinking ways to make it less awkward.

"Your dress is beautiful"
"You look great "

"Thanks "
"Thanks "

Both said at the exact same time. Great this made it even more awkward.

Dahyun was cursing him in her mind for inviting her here like she could have been in her home peacefully sleeping or doings some shit but no she had to be invited by the one only prince Guem Jae.

People will die to get invited by a prince and here is Dahyun cursing him in her mind.

And Guem was also cursing himself that he should have prepared well like he could have asked jimin about it, he would give him list of things to not make it awkward but no he has to go without prepared.
