My name was Edward O'Megas, later changed to Ward Omega, and in another life, I was a genius a world-renowned prodigy. I was the CEO of a globally ranked billion-dollar corporation, made a number of revolutionary discoveries and breakthroughs that drastically improved the standard of living all around the world. The world media took to calling me the Once and Future King. I was also known as a bit of a lady's man, and was one of the world's most eligible bachelors. I also led a think tank of other geniuses and prodigies dedicated to improving the human condition. I had an eye for talent; finding it, grooming it, promoting it and enhancing it.

I was at the top of my game, without limit, and nothing could slow me down... then, I died. I was on a flight, when my plane ran into complications, either through a freak accident or malicious intent, I didn't have time to speculate, but my fate was sealed and the plane went down, taking all hands with it.

You'd think that'd be where my story ends, but you'd be wrong. After going through the experience of dying from a plane crash, I woke up and saw that I was in a complete white void, naked. Before me was probably the most perfect woman I'd ever seen, her skin was the color of caramel and free of even the most minute blemishes, half her hair was the pure white, while the other half was perfect glossy black, the same as the two large angel wings that were behind her, her eyes were a brilliant gold that glowed with power. Her beauty was ethereal, and I couldn't tell you why, but seeing her put me at ease. Also she was naked too, which was a welcomed sight. She was standing in the middle of dozens of large glowing spheres, studying each so intently she didn't even notice me.

"W-where am I?" I demanded, "who are you?"

She turned to me, shocked by my voice, "Huh? How did you get over there, Ward?" her voice was so soothing, it instantly quelled my panic.

"That's what I'd like to know?" I told her, "wait... how do you know my name?"

"I know many things," she said plainly, "like how you are currently fantasizing of banging this form of mine. Not that I blame you, it is quite ravishing." She was then groping her own breasts inquisitively, as if only just noticing them.

"Who... or what are you?" I asked the woman who was still exploring her own body, "What is this place?"

"Hmm, that's a bit of an explanation," she mused, putting her finger to her chin in thought. God, why was everything she did so sexy? "I guess in terms you can understand, I'm like a supervisor. I don't really have a name that your kind can even comprehend, but you can just call me Idris, that's the name of your favorite actor right?"

"Yeah." I shrugged, "So, are you, like, some sort of god, or –in your case— goddess?"

She smiled at me, obviously impressed, "Well, not exactly, but that's sort of the general idea. I'm the administrator over these worlds, I maintain the balance between order and chaos, and oversee the transfer of souls between them."

"That's really interesting and all," I said, "but why am I here? Last I remember I died,"

"Yes, you did." Idris said, nodding, "not that big of a deal, it happens to your kind all the time. Anyway, you were in transit, but the system overloaded, so you ended up out here."

"Transit?"

"Yes, your soul was being recycled, transferred to another of the worlds under my jurisdiction. I believe you types call it reincarnation... or isekai? That one's been going about a lot lately."

"So I was about to be reincarnated?" I said, "that's wild,"

"You act as if it's the first time," Idris shrugged, "though from your point of view I guess it is."
