With the recording session wrapped up, a sense of accomplishment settled over the room, mingling with the awe of our sunbaes. Shuhua, her enthusiasm unrestrained, stepped forward with a beaming smile. "Y/N, that was amazing! You've got the voice of an angel or something," she gushed, her eyes sparkling with genuine admiration.

Soojin, no stranger to delivering sultry smiles, approached next. Her words held a certain allure that sent my heart racing. "Your vocals are really something else," she complimented, her gaze fixed on me. While I had nursed a crush on her for a while, her attention was becoming a tad overwhelming. "And you all managed to record it in just one session? How long does that usually take?"

I scratched my head, a bashful smile tugging at my lips. "Usually, it's around two, maybe three sessions. Something like that," I answered, my uncertainty hidden behind a nonchalant facade. The impressed looks on the girls' faces were hard to miss. "Well, sometimes it takes a bit more. Depends on the song, I guess."

Soojin's curiosity shifted to another topic, one that had been on our minds too. "I'm still curious, though—why hasn't CUBE debuted you guys yet?" Her words were accompanied by a shift in her expression as she felt a pressure on her thighs. Glancing down, she found Soyeon using her as a makeshift lap pillow.

"I don't know, but...we think it's time to switch companies for us."

"YAH!" I felt someone wrap her arms around my waist and no surprise It was Shuhua "Don't go!" she cried out. hehe cute

A smile tugged at my lips at her reaction. "Don't worry, Shuhua. We're still in the process of figuring things out. We've received an offer from HYBE, which is exciting, but it's not a done deal." I looked around at the familiar faces, each representing a piece of my musical journey. "And besides, there's the matter of our actual equipment."

Omega nodded in agreement, his words punctuated by action as he delivered a swift kick to the amplifier. The resulting roar brought the machine back to life, a testament to its well-worn state. "Yeah, standard issue equipment isn't holding up too well," he remarked wryly, gesturing toward the revived amplifier. "We'll need to head back to Ireland to retrieve our proper gear."

"Believe me," I chimed in with a wry grin, "you don't want to know how many times we've had to coax life back into these stubborn machines." Right on cue, the amplifier decided to shut off again, prompting an exasperated curse from Omega. "Goddamnit," he muttered before administering another swift kick, successfully coaxing it back to life.

As we settled back into the rhythm of conversation, my phone's persistent alarm finally pierced through the discussion. "Well, looks like it's lunchtime," I remarked as I reached to silence the alarm.

Yuqi was quick to respond "You did promise to have lunch with us. Don't you dare back out now." With a chuckle, I acknowledged their collective point. "You're right" I turned to Shuhua, still wrapped around my waist, and winked. "Looks like we're all in for lunch together."

I couldn't help but chuckle at her unyielding grip. "Ummm," I teased, giving her a playful nudge, hoping she would release me from her hug, though her grip only grew firmer.

Her voice turned somewhat dreamy as she continued, "You're so huggable and big too." Completely oblivious to the suggestive undertones of her words, she nestled closer against my back a flush of warmth spread across my cheeks, I exchanged a knowing glance with my siblings and the other girls.

We left the room to get lunch, we decided to eat at a nearby seafood restaurant, and I ended up eating fresh oysters, my fave. it was a pleasant experience, a sat between shuhua and soojin who were both attempting to feed me. "noonas there's really no need for-" i was cut off when soojin shoved a piece of shrimp into my mouth. okay not going to lie this is pretty good shrimp.
