Metalmorphosis - Murder Drones AU

Cabin Fever

The story began in a cabin on Copper 9.

Uzi just ran away from N, V and her classmates after she turned an arrow into something living in front of them using her absolute solver. She quickly got inside a cabin and barricaded the door using her absolute solver before she used it again to destroy all the lights. A few seconds later she fell to the floor in a lot of pain, her eyes glitching with a high temperature warning.

"W-what...is this" she uttered.

Suddenly, a black ooze glitched through the floor and wrapped itself around her. Uzi screamed in pain before the black ooze fully consumed her.

Meanwhile...

N was trying to stop V from going after Uzi.

"V, we can't hurt Uzi" said N.

"We do our jobs and that thing leaves us alone" said V.

"I don't know what you're talking about because you won't tell me" said N.

He got his own blade out of his right arm and struck one of the blades V had, much to her shock and the shock of the other students.

"What are you so afraid of" N asked her.

V quickly regained her confidence and pointed a blade at N.

"I'm not afraid" she growled.

"I am! Uzi is! She's a kid! Like us, V! What is wrong with you" N shouted.

V was quiet, not knowing how to answer that. N took out his clipboard and handed it to her.

"Look after the campers" he said.

He then turned around, got his wings out and took off to find Uzi. V begrudgingly turned around and walked away.

"Do whatever you want" she growled.

Two campers named Rebeca and Daron both left for the forest, while the other campers left to make a campfire.

"We need to sneak this far just to make out" Daron asked her.

"It's about mood, Daron" she replied.

They both walked up to an old cabin as lightning flashed in the sky a few times. They both stared at the cabin for a few seconds before they decided that it was the perfect place.

"Nice" said Rebeca.

"I get it now" said Daron.

They both walked up to the door and tried to open it but it wouldn't budge. They pushed their weight against it and it finally opened. Daron hit the button to turn on the lights but nothing happened. The inside of the cabin was shrouded in darkness and the walls were covered in a weird black ooze. Hanging from the middle of the room was a big cocoon entirely made out of the black ooze. Underneath it was a backpack, a flashlight and some shredded pieces of clothing. Daron picked up the flashlight and tried to turn it on. It flickered for a few seconds before it finally turned on.

SLAM!

Suddenly, the door behind them slammed shut on its own. They both turned around in shock, facing the door with a look of terror on their faces. That was when the cocoon behind them began to crack open. A pair of Disassembly Drone wings came out of the back of the cocoon but they looked...different. The wings looked like they belonged to a Disassembly Drone but they were organic with purple membranes. A purple X then began to glow from inside of the cocoon. It was Uzi.

Meanwhile...

N landed outside another cabin. He scanned the area around him and found footprints that lead into the building up ahead. He sighed as he headed inside. He didn't find Uzi but he did notice a light coming from a corner in the room. There was a computer and another monitor that was playing static. He tried to turn the computer on but it just sparked. He then looked at the monitor that was playing static and saw a VHS tape underneath it that read "Zombie Drones". He touched it and instantly got flashbacks from his past that made him jump back. N was hesitant at first but he eventually grabbed the tape and took it with him.
