On a beautiful ship blessed by The Reignbow Arbitor, the librarian sips her tea while listening to the local storyteller talk about The High Cloud Quintet.
Across the table is a brown haired knight on duty. She recognizes the librarian as a guest and offers her any help.
The 2 get into discussion about storytelling and myths from there home worlds.
"You have told me plenty about 3 of the members, what about the other members of the High Cloud Quintet? Imbibitor Lunae and Jingliu?"
"Imbibitor Lunae was banished for an evil sin and Jingliu is a wanted woman from what I've been told. I don't fully understand it either"
"How could such legends fall so far from grace?"
"I would suggest you not dig any deeper, such knowledge has become forbidden on the ships"
"Here is what you don't understand; I've collected knowledge from countless worlds- Forbidden Knowledge does not exist to me"
"Miss?"
The storyteller wrapped up his tale. The librarian gets up and leaves a small note for the helpful knight. She tips kindly for her tea then heads off to the Divination Comission. Those who foretell fate must grant her some sort of clue.
When she arrives she is greeted by a lazy diviner who keeps escaping work. Such a girl was more help then the librarian thought.
"If it annoys Master Diviner and I hardly have to do anything then I'm in!"
"I'll see you at the games parlor later tonight"
The librarian reads through some of the books she collected on the ship as she waits. A land with such history is like a honeytrap for a librarian like her.
Another vacation slowly turns into work as a message from the librarian's brother comes in saying the IPC needs more data on the ship.
"Why does my brother always have to text me while I'm getting forbidden knowledge? Does he have a 'my sister is breaking the law' radar or something?" she sighs.
The forbidden book never came- not tonight anyways. There is no hiding knowledge from the librarian. The Master Diviner appears and desires a friendly conversation with the librarian. This stay turned into quite the adventure
She pulled out her diary and made another entry; "I don't belong here,"
