Tara's POV

Amber hasn't texted me back yet I even tried calling James or Hazel, still no fucking answer it was driving me crazy I randomly got a call from James "Hey Mr. Freeman have you seen Amber"

"Yes she's doing something currently" he said in a uneasy tone "For how long" it's been hours since I texted Amber "A few hours, she'll talk to you then, goodbye"

I couldn't get another word out before he hung up. What the fuck, Hazels kept number going straight to voicemail I looked at Ambers location on my phone there was nothing there. I called Ethan

"What's up T, please don't me it's about your little relationship with Amber" he groaned Ethan really acts like a dick sometimes "You mean our completely friendly relationship? Yeah that's the one" I said as he scoffed

"So what is it" now that I think about I shouldn't have called him, what was I going to say? Hey Ethan I wanted to tell you I can't reach Amber and I think it has something to do with her dad. Yeah that sounds perfect..

"How are you doing Ethan?" I said with excitement in my voice "Goodbye Tara" he said laughing before he hung up. Damn it Amber, what the hell are you doing.

Ambers POV

I woke up in a room I wasn't tied up or anything like that, when I tried to open the door it shocked my hand soon after someone opened the door
"Hello Ms. Freeman" a lady said as men walked in behind her with a chair "And you are?"

She whispered something in the man's ear he forced me to lay back down. The woman ran out and came back in with something "Okay Amber don't get scared alright? This will help you feel better" I still couldn't see what she had he tied my hands down I instantly looked at him

"I feel great, now let me go" she shook her head walking towards me I looked in front of me to see my father, Mickey Altieri the one who never neglected me "Amber they're going to hurt you for a while, and say your not normal. But you are normal but people go a little crazy you see that knife on the nightstand" Mickey said walking around. I took a quick glance and seen an extremely sharp knife

"They'll keep hurting you if you don't defend your self Amber. It's time for you to realize that your my daughter my blood runs through your veins, and you wanna know what your dad did? I fucking killed people so you can do it too!" He yelled not even 30 seconds later I felt something hot touch my skin. It wasn't a normal hot

"What the hell is that!" I yelled trying to get up but all I could think about was the burning sensation on my stomach "Molted lava" the man said as he pulled it away causing my eyes to widen "Your father said we're allowed to do this to you Amber, your anger isn't with us it's with him." The lady said walking out as the man pushed it against my skin again, this time I let out a scream in agony

I started to feel lightheaded, I have to get out of here I could feel my heart beating rapidly and I could barely breathe he realized and untied me when I stood up I grabbed the knife and stabbed him. He had a scared expression on his face

I stabbed him 4 more times before stabbing his neck I instantly pulled the knife out he didn't even try to fight back "Didn't that feel amazing Amber?" Mickey smiled as he sat on the bed "Good job Amber Freeman, or should I say Amber Altieri?" The lady said walking in as people dragged the man's body out. So basically my secret isn't even a secret anymore

"It was a test, we needed him dead anyway but you passed we showed you your just like him sweetie. You need our help." She put her hand on my shoulder. Groups of mean surrounded me taking off their clothes, how the actual fuck does that help? I didn't realize what was happening until one of them kissed me and someone else grabbed me.

Tara's POV

2 day's later

I've been calling and texting Amber nonstop I've been up since yesterday I called Mindy asking her if she could pick me up and take me to Ambers house, she was outside about 10 minutes later when I got in the car she put on music

"So what's wrong with you girlfriend now" Mindy smiled she doesn't hate Amber they're still friends of course, but Mindy knows how to get under Ambers skin "She isn't my girlfriend" I sighed "Not yet at least" I rolled my eyes

"She won't answer my calls or texts" Mindy laughed "The first time she doesn't answer and you have a heart attack" Mindy said as she laughed even harder "She hasn't texted me back in two days Mindy"

The smile on her face quickly went away she started speeding a little bit when we got to Ambers house she jumped out of the car "Wait, come back" I whispered she parked a nice distance from Ambers house and luckily she had tinted windows, she quickly got back in the car

"What is it? Ambers your girlfriend we should be in there-" I hit her arm and pointed towards James talking to some lady they pulled off and that's when we went into her house. We searched the whole house and found nothing
"Mindy nothing is fucking here!" I yelled

Mindy walked back downstairs "I even looked in her parents room" she mumbled, that's when I broke down Mindy pulled me into a hug "I just want Amber to be okay" I said as I cried into Mindys shirt

"She's okay T we just don't know where she is at this moment" we suddenly heard someone unlocking the door and we ran into the closet "Kate, I've told you where Amber is she's in a asylum I'm going to pick her up today" James said walking around through the house as the lady sat down

"I don't approve of you putting her in there-" she said causing James to turn on his heel and walked towards her "You aren't her mother. So mind you business Kathleen"

"You aren't her father so how about you stop-" James quickly choked her as soon as he let her go he punched her Mindy closed her eyes "I love Amber with every fiber in my fucking body, I will do what it takes to protect her from harm even if it means from herself"

Kathleen shook her head trying to walk out "I'm her father, Mickey is someone who she should never know" Kathleen turned around "So what? Now you won't tell her that her father is alive!"

James quickly grew red "I'm her father, she realizes that Mickey means nothing to her"
"Just wait until she meets him James, I've already talked to him he's coming to meet her" That's when James lost it he grabbed a gun from his hip and shot her I covered my mouth as Mindy let out a noise causing him to look at the closet

His phone started ringing startling him he answered "I'm on my way now" he mumbled leaving the body we waited a while after he left to come out we ran to Mindys car and called the police we didn't want to deal with anything else so we left "So James is a murderer?"

I slowly nodded realizing what just happened "We need to find Amber asap"
