Lies behind us

Part 9-wednesday-

Yesterday Vic and I talked for four hours in total before she drove me home on her motorcycle. After I came back Indy had called me to ask how the date went. I just told her what happened with Trevor but I didn't mention anything about Vic.

Now I was just getting ready for school as usual. Today I didn't have anything special planned besides a history lesson where Vic would be.  

I hope Vic will be as talkative as yesterday.

I really felt like Vic was way more comfortable talking with me yesterday. She didn't take long breaks or just answer with a few dry words. 

I checked the time, 8.15. Vic had offered to pick me up on the way to school at 8.20 so I went to grab my bag before going outside. 

Soon enough a black mercedes came to my view and I could see  Vic on the driver's seat. She stopped in front of me and I went over to the passenger's side and opened the door.

 "Good morning", I said as I sat down and closed the door behind me.

"Good morning", she smiled back "Had to take dad's car since he took my bike to work".

"And I didn't even know that you had a driver's license", I joked back with a slight sarcasm in my voice.

She laughed at me and I just giggled back. I love this side of her.

Soon we made it to the school's parking lot where she opened the car door for me and walked with me till we made it to the main hallway where I would most likely meet Indy and Cade.

"See you in history", Vic said before she made her way to her first class. I found Indy sitting next to Cade near the gym.

"Girl, I'm sorry about yesterday, didn't know he was that much of an asshole", she apologized.

"Oh, it's fine, you didn't mean it".

As we were chatting and waiting for the bell to ring I noticed a couple of girls whispering to each other and giggling while pointing in my direction. I just told myself that they weren't pointing at me but something didn't seem right.

Once the bell rang we went to our first class which was physics. In my opinion physics wasn't the worst subject but definitely not the best one either. Me and Indy sat at the back of the class so we didn't have to do anything too much.

After what felt like forever the lesson finally ended and we were headed to the next one. We had a double lesson of geography and after that we would have p.e.

Thankfully we had our lunch break before p.e. Indy had disappeared with Cade so I took my opportunity to go and find Vic. She had had music as her last period so I headed towards the music class.

On my way there I noticed even more people giving me looks. They would turn to their friends to say something, point at me or laugh. I hurried up as I was getting uncomfortable being in the hallway and when I made it to the classroom I basically just crashed in.

"What's with such a hurry?" Vic was sitting at the left back corner of the room with an electric guitar on her lap.

"Oh, it's nothing, don't worry about it", I said while scratching the back of my neck. "only if you say so".

I walked over to her and sat on a desk that was to her left. "Do you know how to play that?", I asked nodding towards the guitar. "I mean a little".

"Can you play something for me?"

"Do you have a song in mind or?", she asked looking straight into my eyes. I could feel myself blushing again as I tried to avoid eye contact without making it obvious.
