With a newfound energy, I awoke to the morning sun and a sense of enthusiasm for the day ahead. The sky's expanse, filled with the graceful flight of birds, brought a sense of wonder as I stepped out of the alley where I had spent the night. The daylight momentarily blinded me, but the sight of people bustling about in the lively city quickly lifted my spirits.

I strolled through the busy capital, taking in the sights and sounds of this new world that still held an air of fantasy and enchantment. Despite the foreignness of it all, there was a sense of adventure and excitement in the air, likely caused by my expectations of this day. I maintained a positive demeanor, practicing my friendly smile as I walked, hoping that this time it might bring about better interactions than before. A smile could never bring bad results after all, right ?

Entering the lively shopping district, I greeted Kadomon with a playful wave and a cheerful tone, purchasing a few appas to enjoy for the day. As I left his stand, the realization hit me that I was completely clueless about the location of the slum area Felt had mentioned. Letting out a sigh, I retraced my steps and returned to the fruit seller.

"Hey there again, fruit seller-san!"

I greeted Kadomon with a friendly smile and a light-hearted demeanor.

"Already back? What do you need now?"

Kadomon's curiosity was evident in his voice as he looked at me.

"Oh, not much really. I was just hoping you could point me in the direction of the slum area."

My request seemed to take Kadomon by surprise, his eyebrows raising slightly.

With the information generously provided by Kadomon, I set out on my mission to locate the slums. However, I soon realized that my sense of direction was lacking to say the least. Despite my best efforts, I found myself getting lost more times than I could count. Each time I had to ask for directions, I couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed, as if I were a lost tourist in an unfamiliar city, which in hindsight was exactly the case.

Once I finally arrived at the slums, I was taken aback by the sheer devastation that met my eyes. Buildings stood in various states of disrepair, some completely roofless and others seemingly burnt down. I cautiously ventured forward into this unfamiliar and grim place, scanning my surroundings for any clues that might lead me to Felt's den. With each step I took, I encountered more and more individuals who were clearly struggling to survive in these harsh conditions.

Fueled by an impulse to help, I approached a person who was sitting on the ground and struck up a conversation.

"Hey there, friend. I'm actually looking for someone. She's a young girl, on the shorter side, with golden hair. Oh, she's super annoying too ! Have you seen anyone like that around?"

The person regarded me for a moment before seeming to mull over my description.

"Hmm... Ah, I think you're talking about Felt, right? Did she take something from you?"

"You could say that, yes."

"Well, you've certainly got your hands full then. Her den is a couple of streets down that way," he gestured with his finger, indicating a direction, "If you're planning on negotiating with her to retrieve whatever she stole, brace yourself. Live strong !"
