Before I tell you my story, let me just say something, Middle School is nothing like Elementary School!! First of all in Elementary School, kids don't smart mouth their teachers and mock you when you get an answer right.

Secondly, you don't get mauled by rabid students when you go to your locker, because the people around you are too impatient to wait.

Finally, you don't get run over by a stampede of giant, baby, jocks, also known as 8th graders! In other words, Middle School is a huge tank of Great White sharks and I am just a little guppy, waiting to get eaten. Now, let's get on to the story.

Silly me! I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Autumn Cheney! I'm new at Red Hills Middle School. (RHMS) Last year, I moved from Kansas to Florida, because my dad got a new job. Anyway, I guess I really should tell you how I met my friends.

One August morning, I was rudely woken up by my alarm clock. I pulled my clothes and got dressed. I felt something fuzzy brush against my ankle. I knew what it was. "Nami!" I exclaimed picking up the tiny, Siamese, kitten.

A week ago, I saw this little ball of fur abandoned in a parking lot. My family and I immediately took the starving animal to the vet. She's okay now, but eats food like a crazy cockatoo!

After I finished my morning routine, I made sure I had everything in my schoolbag. My mother soon dragged me to the car, along with my father. Remember how I said my father got a new job? My dad decided to work as a sixth-grade teacher at my school! Thankfully, I got to be in his homeroom.

After dropping the two of us off, my mom sped away to her job as a lawyer. "Are you all ready to go in Pumpkin?" he asked. "Yes sir." I responded as we walked together to room 27B. Since we had to come in early, because he was a teacher, I texted my BFFL Emma Segars.

When the first bell finally rang I put my phone down and waited. My stomach was already in knots. Fun fact about me: I'm extremely shy. Suddenly, a blonde boy burst through the door...
That's right I'm leaving you at a clif- ow! I'm sorry, my jerky friend Sting just whacked me for that! Well, I'll see you in chapter five. (Sting, when I catch you, you are so dead!!)
A/n: Hey guys, what's up?  Anyways I actually made the pic of Autumn, so i'd appreciate it  if you could tap the photo to look at it fully.
