The city of stars...
A place where the celebrities and rich live lavishly...
and the not so fortunate struggle to thrive day by day.Two boys who have been on the run for two weeks have been spotted dashing into an alleyway as the sun begins to set over the skyline. A high school dropout and notorious graffiti artist named Pico... and BF, a blue haired boy on the somewhat shorter side with aspirations of becoming a painter. The two come to a halt, visibly out of breath. They begin to converse, unaware of another person in the alleyway.
"Another close call." Pico sighs, looking at the way they just came, making sure no one followed. "Do you think he saw us...?" a voice mumbled behind him, nervously looking around. Pico turned and looked at Boyfriend, who is, well, his boyfriend. "I don't think so." the ginger replied before sighing. "This is the third time this week we've almost been caught."
"I-I know..." Boyfriend responded, trailing off. He felt guilty, so to say. They were now on the run from his parents, having to watch their backs everywhere they went. "With them plastering your face all over town, it's inevitable that someone will eventually find us." Pico reminded, breaking Boyfriend from his thoughts.
"..." Boyfriend looked down sadly, unable to answer him. Pico looked over at him with a soft look, "We both know how they settle things." he said. He gained a semi-serious look, "We need to prepare for it."
Boyfriend couldn't hold in his worries anymore. "I told you running away wasn't a good idea! I can't do this. What if-" he continued to ramble.
"BF..."
"When he-" the softie continued, not hearing his boyfriend calling to him.
"Baby Blue..." Pico said, managing to break BF from his thought process. "You worry too much. I've got your back every step of the way. How about we do a practice round?" He offered. He gave a soft smile when Boyfriend nodded to his question. "Repeat after me." He instructed, and started singing.

"..." Boyfriend paused after the song ended, waiting for feedback.
"..." The ginger stared, flustered, and unable to comprehend words at this moment.
Unable to take silence, BF decided to ask the question out loud. "How was that...?" he asked, nervous for the response. The green hooded ginger snapped out of his daze and smiled. "You did great! I knew you could do it." he encouraged with a smile at the end.
His words of encouragement seemed to have worked on his counterpart, because the blue headed softie perked up. "Really?" he asked. "Mhm!" the ginger replied lightly, before turning serious. "Though..." he paused, looking around.
"We should probably get a move on before-"
Footsteps could be heard at the entrance of the alleyway, interrupting their heartfelt conversation. The footsteps made the unidentified person already in the shadows slink back more, not wanting to catch any attention. They took a light drag of their cigarette, wanting to see how this would play out.
"...?""...!" Were the reactions of Pico and Boyfriend, who had somehow gotten caught in the alleyway.
A man stepped out of the shadows... He goes by the name Father Fairest. A retired rap battler whose name is as well known by the youth as it is by the generations before them. His voice was his claim to fame but nowadays he lives very well of with his beautiful wife...and up until a few weeks ago...
His talented son.
"Sport!" the boome- Father Fairest exclaimed. "We've been looking for you." he says, taking a puff of his cigar. Boyfriend doesn't reply, and Fairest takes in his surroundings. His eyes stop on Pico and a displeasing look settles on his face. "Hm. I see you're running around with that street rat again." he comments.
