"jimin! wake up!" jimins eyes shot open quickly sitting up. his mom was in his room picking up the beer can and the other items that jimin had littered on his floor.

"what have i told you about drinking. it's a bad habit. do you want to end up like your father?" she said raising an eyebrow at him. jimins parents used to allow him to drink sometimes but that was when he was being supervised. jimin was a lightweight and a very irresponsible drinker so his parents banned him from drinking.

jimin groaned and lay back down covering his face with the blanket. "it was one can? and are you not married to him?" jimin spoke.

"so?"

"so why are you complaining about the man you decided to marry?"

"shut up. anyway, get up and clean this mess. mina said she's coming over soon." she said pulling the blanket off of jimin.

"she did? when?" jimin sat up suddenly.

"she called me this morning because you weren't answering your phone."

jimin sighed in relief that mina didn't decide to ignore him after yesterdays events. he got up and cleaned his room, fixed his bed and lit a candle before jumping in the shower.

when he was dressed he ate some breakfast and looked through his phone. soon after, the bell rang and jimin raced to the door to open it. he opened the door to find mina in a cute purple dress and her hair tied into a pony tail.

"hi" she said and smiled awkwardly.

"hey.. you look beautiful by the way. um.. come in." he said before moving out the way so she could walk inside. she took her sneakers off and followed jimin into his room.

"um.. so.. yesterday?" jimin started not really knowing what to say but he hoped he could make things right.

"i'm sorry about that. i forced you into doing that with me when you said you wasn't ready. i thought about it last night and i feel terrible jimin. please forgive me." she spoke quickly, not messing up any of her words.

"mina, don't worry about it. i actually feel bad because i'm not able please you.. i feel terrible actually. i hope next time we try i will be better." he replied. he kinda hoped there wasn't a next time.

"really?" she smiled slightly and jimin nodded. he pulled her in for a hug and pecked her on the cheek.

"anyway, my parents kinda found out about us after i came home late. i'm a really bad liar." she laughed and jimins eyes widened. mina always told him that her parents can never find out because they were super strict.

"wait what? what happened?!" he asked, slightly panicked.

"they were actually really cool about it. they want to meet you. wanna come over for dinner tomorrow?" she beamed.

"wait seriously?"

"yes!"

"um, yeah sure." what the fuck. jimin never thought he would have to go through meeting her parents formally, as they already know each other as they're neighbours, but now he was slightly nervous.

"don't worry jimin, they're going to love you. you're such a good boy but i have to warn you about my dad he can be a little... judgmental and mean at first but he's really nice once you get to know him" she was still smiling.

they spent the rest of the day at the park, laying in the sun reading a book together and cuddling talking about nothing. then they went to a local diner where they got milkshakes.

jimin dropped mina off at her door that evening. he will admit that he loved hanging out with mina when they go on their little dates. he will also admit that he kinda wished he was straight so that he could like her back. he felt like shit knowing that he was using her so his father wouldn't think he was gay.

"i'll see you tomorrow, come around 7, okay?" she smiled up at jimin.

"sure." jimin pulled her into a hug and she hugged him back tighter.

when jimin got back to his house, he noticed his dads car in the driveway and sighed. he unlocked the door and walked in to hear the faint sound of his parents talking in the kitchen. he walked towards the kitchen and opened the door, his dad had a pissed look on his face.

"jimin. why is your mother telling me that you've been drinking again?" he said. his voice was deep and he was tall. very scary. but jimin just rolled his eyes.

"why do you only decide to be a parent when i'm in trouble or when your criticising me?" he replied back.

"watch your mouth boy. don't think because you have a girlfriend and you're 18 now you can disrespect me. i'm still your father." his voice boomed. he then pushed past jimin slightly, walking out the kitchen

still my father. please. since when. jimin rolled his eyes. he did love his father but he wished that his dad would show him that he loved him too. jimins dad has always been part of his life but it felt like he was just a stranger. he wished him and his dad would have that father-son relationship like all his friends and their fathers.

jimin told him mom about how minas parents wanted to meet him. she was really excited and then told jimin to set the table for dinner. after they ate awkwardly as a family jimin decided that he would have an early night.
