"Girl that was so embarrassing." My prediction that Eve would tease me about Bill was correct
"Shut uuuuup." I whispered-shouted and threw a small pillow I found on the bed at her, I was aiming for her body but it hit her right in the face, which made me burst out laughing.
"I would love to beat you in a pillow fight Y/n but I'm too tired, so I guess you win for this one and only time." Eve said and chuckled, she picked up the pillow from the floor and threw herself on the bed. "We don't even have a change of clothes, we left everything back in the shitty apartment."
I shrugged my shoulders and layed on the other side of the bed. "We'll have to leave the house at some point anyway, I don't think they have stocked up on any groceries, so we will get some clothes too when we go shopping."
"Shit, I didn't think about that."
"About what?" I asked Eve with a curious look on my face.
"About having to leave the house, we're definitely getting killed by the zombies." Silence filled the room, I didn't know how to reply, I'm not the best at comforting people, especially when what they're saying might be true.
"Let's just not think about this for the rest of the night, we can talk about it tomorrow with the guys, get some rest Eve." I said as I got up from the bed and grabbed a random jacket, which I assumed was Bills.
"Where are you going wearing that?" Eve asked and when I turned to face her I could see a big smirk drawn on her face.
"Can't I go out for a smoke?"
"Wearing Bills jacket? Interesting." Eve chuckled, I didn't mind the teasing since it seemed like I was able to shift Eves mood, which made me more than happy, still I tried to hide it though.
"The weather is ass and I didn't bring a jacket, anyway, aren't you going to join me?"
"Didn't you just tell me two minutes ago to get some rest? Seems like you're thinking about Bill so much that he's causing you memory loss." Eve replied and tried holding back her laugh, I rolled my eyes sarcastically, I tried hiding my smile but it was a fail. "Okay yeah, he's hot I admit it, you can stop teasing me now."
Eve's eyes widened and she chuckled loudly "KNEW IT! I mean, he's totally your type, I shouldn't even be surprised." I laughed along and after I calmed down I pulled out the pack of cigarettes from one of my pockets, along with a lighter I found on Bills jacket "Jack pot, I'll be going now, goodnight Eve."
"Night." She replied back dragging the 'i', I turned off the bedroom light and closed the door behind me, I walked across the first floor hall and found a small balcony, I figured it would be safer to go to that one rather than the one that was downstairs. To my surprise, the door was already unlocked, seemed like we had more smokers in the house other than me. I was hoping that person wasn't Bill since I was wearing his jacket, but of course it was him.
I took a deep breath and went outside, Bill was sitting on a small wooden chair, facing the view, a small table was in front of him and another empty chair was next to his. He turned his head to look at me and smiled "Well hello there."
"Hey." I replied and walked towards him, before I was able to ask him to sit next to him he motioned me to join him. His hair was now down and he wasn't wearing any makeup. He still looked very attractive, which made me kinda nervous.
I sat next to him and he scanned my appearance, his eyes widened, along with a smile that appeared on his face "You're wearing my jacket."
Thank god it was night, because otherwise he would have noticed my face that suddenly changed into a dee shade of red. "Oh yeah, sorry, I didn't bring one with me and it's kinda cold so-"
"No no, keep it, it looks good on you, and I have plenty of those anyway."
"Oh...! Thank you." I replied, returning the smile.
"So, what's keeping you awake at this hour?" Bill asked as he opened his pack of cigarettes and placed one on his lips, the ashtray on the table wasn't empty, so I assumed that wasn't his first one for the night. I had my pack on my hand but Bill didn't seem to notice.
"Nothing really, I'm pretty tired actually but I really need a cigarette right now. You know, to kinda calm down from everything that happened earlier today." I opened my pack and mirrored Bills previous movements.
"Didn't know you're a smoker Y/n." Bill said whilst still having the cigarette on his lips, he lit his cigarette up and exhaled out some of the smoke.
"Don't I look like one?" I chuckled and then I started looking around for the lighter I had found earlier on Bills jacket, but with no luck. Seemed like the lighter wasn't anywhere in my pockets.
Bill noticed and turned to face me, he put his cigarette back on his lips and slowly grabbed my chin to face him "Here." He said as he took his lighter and lit up my cigarette. I noticed my pulse got faster and I kept looking at him nervously. This guy was so smooth and he wasn't even trying.
"Thanks." I replied and blew out some smoke as well, my heart still racing from earlier. I started admiring the starry sky and tried to not face Bill in order to not embarrass myself even further.
After that Bill and I talked about the bands, both his and the one I was trying to make. He told me some funny stories from touring and I explained my situation to him. He was super pleasant to be around and he had a way to make me feel comfortable around him, that was when he wasn't trying to flirt with me, not that I wasn't enjoying it, it was just very unusual for me. I mean, he's very famous, and he just happened to get stuck with me during a zombie apocalypse.
After talking for about 10 minutes we heard the door open, both me and Bill turned around and saw Tom, standing right in front of the entrance.
"I was about to join you for a smoke but it seems like you already have company." I wasn't very sure about what Tom thought of me and Eve, I wasn't getting any negative energy from him, it looked more like he didn't care if we were in the house or not, better than hating our guts I guess.
"You can take my seat, I'm going to get some sleep anyway." I got up from the chair and quickly got my stuff from the table, motioning Tom to sit.
Tom seemed to notice the jacket I was wearing but didn't say anything, I did catch him raising his eyebrow at Bill though.
"Oh, yeah it's getting pretty late, goodnight Y/n." Bill said and smiled once again.
"Goodnight guys." I replied along with a wave and started walking away.
"Night." Tom replied with a small smile. I went back inside and made my way to the bedroom, I slowly opened the door and to my surprise, Eve was already asleep. I tried to be as quiet as possible, as I didn't want to wake her up and soon enough, I layed on the other side of the bed. Even though I was very tired I couldn't sleep, my interaction earlier with Bill kept playing on repeat on my head, keeping me awake for at least half an hour more.
I had only been there for a few hours and I was already falling for him.
