Chapter 13

"We can't stay outdoors...see if any of the apartments you can enter"
Jungkook said as he looked around.

Lisa walked Infront of a apartment and tried to open the door.
"This one can't..."
Just then they heard a low scream.

Both Lisa and Jungkook looked ahead and saw one of them, standing there while looking at them.
"Fuck..."
Jungkook gritted his teeth when he saw it running toward them and few more running behind it as well.

"Lisa quick!find a open door!"
Jungkook shouted as he hit the first one running toward them.

Lisa ran over and grabbed the handle or each door.
When she reached the last door in the floor Nas couldn't open it either she cried out.
"Please!what to do..."

She looked back and saw Jungkook was almost falling down from the pressure.

Just then the door of the last apartment opened and a masked man pushed Lisa inside before walking out.

He throw a gas canister and shouted at Jungkook.
"Come here!run!"
Jungkook pushed them with all his might and took the chance to run.

They went inside the apartment and the masked man closed the door.
"Oh god that was close..."
The masked man removed his mask and behind it was a somehow aged man.

He turned around and looked at Jungkook and Lisa.
"Are you two ok?"

"Why did you help us?"
Lisa raised her ax toward him as she couldn't believe someone would help another person easily in such a situation.
"Weren't you the one banging on the door?"
The man asked.

Jungkook saw Lisa was anxious and quietly grabbed her hand.
"Lisa..."
He called her slowly.
Lisa looked up and when she saw Jungkook's eyes she lowered her ax.

When the man saw they have calmed down,he walked inside his kitchen.
"Come please sit for a while"
He sat on one the chairs.

Lisa and Jungkook followed and sat next to each other, Infront of the man.
"How did you guys survived?I thought I am the only person in this apartment"
The man said as he grabbed a bottle of water and poured some in three cups.

"Well...we also thought about the same thing"
Jungkook answered.
"Did you two know each other?"
"No we just got to know each other a few days ago"

The man nodded and pushed cups Infront of them.
"You must be thirsty,drink some"

Lisa grabbed Jungkook's hand under the table.
Jungkook looked at her before looking back at the man.
"Ah...I understand... it's hard to trust others but I really don't have any intentions"
The man said before bringing his cup and drinking from it to show then there's nothing inside.

When Lisa and Jungkook saw he drank himself,they also grabbed their cups to drink some.
The man smiled.
"So you came here because you also heard about
rescue team?"

Lisa and Jungkook both looked at the man.
"What?"
"Sir...what rescue team?"
Jungkook asked hesitantly.

"You didn't know?Ayigo...then why are you even coming up to the higher floors?
I watched the news,there are several helicopters from safe zone coming to different part of city as rescue team"
"Really?"
Lisa said with a gasp.
"Yes...if they could see you in somewhere which is available for helicopter to get close,they will save you"

Jungkook and Lisa looked at each other before laughing.
"We can survive..."
Lisa almost cried.
Jungkook smiled and hugged her before patting on her back.
