It's been 5 months since the two best friends had been together as 'best friend lovers', and Beomgyu was feeling terrible.

Don't get him wrong, he really loved Taehyun, but he was scared. He could tell that the blonde wanted to have more of a relationship with him from the way he looked at him.

Taehyun was the sweetest boy he'd ever met, always taking care of him and making him feel special.

He often took Beomgyu out on dates and always made sure he was comfortable and gave him enough attention. He always put Beomgyu first and listened to his problems.

The brunette knew all this and yet he just couldn't bring himself to talk to the boy about how he felt. He had always been against relationships since his childhood, but he'd never felt so in love with someone as he did with Taehyun, which made him have second thoughts about some things.

The sound of the front door unlocking pulled him out of his trance as he sat up, dusting his shorts off as his roommate walked inside, closing the door behind him and taking off his shoes before he saw Beomgyu on the couch.

Smiling, he walked over to the boy, kissing him softly on the lips. "Hey, baby. How was work today?" He asked, putting his work bag down on the coffee table before walking to the kitchen that was connected to the livingroom to get something to eat.

The brunette hummed, getting up and following him, back hugging him and laying his head on his shoulder. "It was alright. I got to leave early, so I got some groceries and some more toilet paper since we were almost out."

Taehyun hummed in response, lightly tossing an instant rice container in the microwave and starting it before he turned around, pulling Beomgyu into a hug, inhaling his scent.

"I love you, Gyu~" he said softly, rubbing his back.

The older hummed, nuzzling him. "Love you, too."

The younger smiled, patting his head before the microwave beeped. He grabbed his rice out and opened the lid to let it cool down while he grabbed a fork and a pack of seaweed, too, walking over to the table.

Beomgyu watched for a bit, sighing softly. "I'll be in my room. Make sure you don't burn your tongue.

Taehyun hummed in response as the older male walked to his bedroom, plopping down on his bed and curling under the blankets, thinking about some things.

After a bit, he heard the door open, and then felt the blankets move as the bed dipped more.

Beomgyu immediately clung to Taehyun, hugging him tight as he laid his head on him, playing with his blonde hair quietly.

The silence was loud and Taehyun sighed softly, turning to face the boy more and moving his bangs so he could see his face better.

"What's wrong, Gyu?"

The brunette looked up at him, giving him a confused look.

Taehyun looked at him, concerned as he held him close. "Something is bothering you and I don't like when you are feeling upset. When you're upset, you're not your usual, confident self anymore. Please tell me what's going on?" He asked, his doe eyes searching for answers.

Beomgyu bit his lip, deciding if he should tell him or not, ultimately giving in with a sigh as he sat up, Taehyun doing the same.

He waited patiently as Beomgyu found the words he wanted to say.

"Hyun, do you remember when I said I don't like relationships?" He asked, playing with the younger's fingers.

Taehyun nodded, letting him do as he pleased. "I do, why?"
