Chapter 2

After a month

As Jungkook slowly opened his eyes, the weight of boredom and tiredness settled upon him... Sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow over his room... He let out a deep sigh, feeling as if the day ahead was already dragging him down...

He lay there for a moment, staring at the ceiling, his mind devoid of any excitement or motivation... Even if it's a special day, he feels empty without his members... The soft hum of the air conditioner was the only sound, and it seemed to echo the monotony he felt within... He shifted in his bed, his body feeling heavy, as if he had been carrying the weight of a long journey...

Jungkook's gaze drifted to his phone on the nightstand... He reached for it, his fingers moving sluggishly as he unlocked the screen... The device was filled with birthday wishes from his family members, friends, co-workers, and staff... He was tagged into thousands of posts by his fans… But still... There was void and sadness because none of his members texted him... Not even a social media post... Or a dm

"Happy Birthday alone birthday to me" He mumbled to himself before doing his morning routine while preparing himself for the worst and the longest birthday ever

Was he actually hoping for this day to be this long? Fucking shits are going wrong one after another... He sighed heavily and looked outside of the window... watching the world outside go about its business, while he remained trapped in his own state of listlessness... He knew he should do something, anything to break the cycle, but the effort required felt overwhelming... "I wish you guys were here" he mumbled and that's when he got a text from the company... Asking him to be prepared for an interview tonight 'Can this day be any worse?' He thought and with a heavy heart, Jungkook made his way towards the company to practise and some other stuff before he started getting ready for the interview that was going to take place in some cottage... "Noona, how can they forget about my birthday? Don't they love me?" He asked with glossy eyes... 'not even my fucking boyfriend cared to wish me…'

"I am really sorry about it dear " She passed a sad smile while helping him do his makeup... Once he was all set the guards took him to the cottage " Hello?Where is everyone and why are the lights off? He asked the guards but to his surprise they weren't behind him anymore... A wave of fear rushed through his spine and to make things worse the door to the closed itself 'Yes Jungkook, today is your last day... On your 26th birthday... You will die, fuck man... Just then the lights turned on and 6 masked male were standing in front of him by pointing the gun  at his forehead... He immediately pulled his hands up in surrender and closed his thinking they will kill him... but when he felt liquid instead of bullets... Jungkook opened his eyes to see 6 gangsters using water gun to drench him... Two of the 6 started laughing their asses off "Can't believe you fall for this idiot" Taehyung said while laughing hard while Jimin literally fell down from laughing so hard Jungkook's lips started wobbling and tears brimmed in his eyes before he started crying loudly... "YOUUUU... I HATE YOU ALL" He screamed between his sobs... He was so scared thinking he was about to die…
