I was not expecting this at all. There are like 16 black Suv's in front of me and nearly 30 bodyguards, all in black in front of me. What the hell does this family do because I have no clue. I couldn't google them because their name's were not told to me nor i was interested.
"Hello miss Aurora , I am Travis and from now on I will be your personal bodyguard " I am not shocked but not happy because now I know everything is going to be different. " MA'AM everyone at palace is waiting for you , let's go ."
I gesture him to guide me .
OK !!! palace that means only one thing either they all are royals or killed royals and took their throne . Dimitrit left separately as we don't want my new family to know much about me right now . After 2 hours we reach at the metal gates if palace . Even after entering the property., it took 15 minutes for palace to come into view .
"RANA NIWAS " ( Rana resident) written in bold .
After taking in all the beauty and details of the palace in account, I step out of the car . Three maids come running from inside and welcomes me . This place feels weird. How can I ever feel a sense of belongingness here. They escort me towards a large room which feels like a home office.
" princess this is Avinash sir's study, He will be in here in a few minutes. " They bow and leave me alone their. There is a family picture behind his desk . They all look so happy , what's the need of me in here , I will just cause chaos .
" my love " someone exclaimed behind me , I turn around to see one of the men from the picture. " hi love , you are so pretty baby . " pretty really I am a mess right now . He pulls me into a hug and spins me around like a little kid . This feels so welcoming , so comforting. " finally I have a sister , you know I always wanted a sister, for you love I can do anything. "
Emotions take over I want to say something but my throat feels so heavy , he admires me with so much softness in his eyes , it brings warmth to me . " you are Avinash? " I ask him . He chuckles. " no love I am not Avinash bhai , I am Rishab , my love and you can call me rishu bhai OK?" I nod and he adds " love you have 5 other brothers and all are elder than you so you will address them as bhai like Avinash bhai not just Avinash , OK love ?"
"Why are you calling me love ?"
" cz the moment I saw you , I knew , I loveyou more than myself " he smiles
" but I am you Half sister "
"More precious than full brother or anything for me " he states with so much confidence that I feel like a small girl being comforted by his brother .
" then why you didn't you came to airport to pick me ?" I ask him with tears in my eyes.
"Because love I was just told about your existence " he holds me in his arm . "Still you say such powerful stuff ". He just chuckles and holds me tightly.
I hear a few footsteps running towards us .
" Bhai not fair we wanted to meet her first."
Rishu sticks out his tounge at other two .
"Come Aurora let's meet others . These two standing here are twins Abhimanyu and Anirudh, they are 22 years old and are just 4month apart from you . Their birthday come in April ."
I nod . They both are looking at me like I am a doll or something . They look so different from each other . Abhimanyu looks like Rishu more and Anirudh have just a very few similarities to them ( a very very few ).
They just nod at me and moves out . Ahmm now it's awkward.
"Aurora " I turn around towards the owner of voice .
" I am Avinash your eldest brother , come lets meet other family members ".he has a cold aura to him . Rishu bhai takes my hand and guide me out of study towards family room . On the way he tells me about everyone, their ages . Some stuff about their grandma and ancestors. Who they are and all most everything important.
Rest of them are sitting on couch , they all stand and scan me . " so you are Aurora ?, mmm you look a bit similar to grandma , you have her hair ." He states .
"Nope Mr.whatyoulooklike , I look like my jido and yes I am Aurora " I say sarcastically. How can he compare me with someone I don't even know .
One of the chuckles and says, " bhai she seems feisty , she is going to irritate you a lot . " the Mr. Whatyou looklike waves his hand to shut Anirudh up and comes closer to me and holds my chin in between his fingers and forces me to look into his eyes .
" you will not talk back to your elder brothers ever again little devil ." He give me a death stare .Ok people don't judge me but that's so cute he thinks he can scare me like that. I return the stare and pokes out my tounge at him . Everyone starts laughing. He wants to say something but is stopped by the eldest man of the group
" Aurora my love , my baby girl! , he is just nervous , we all are baby. You don't know any of us , I know but kiddo let me introduce you to your family " he speaks so softly with so much love that it waters my eyes , but I refuse those emotions to take over.
" since when families need introduction?" I ask him with some bitterness in my voice . He comes closer and embraces me in the most beautiful hug of my life but I don't hug him back I stand still . He eventually let go .
" I am your father , Varun Rana ,your mother was my first and only love but I couldn't marry her baby , when she had you I asked her to marry me to let me near my daughter but baby our situation were complicated, she refused and kept a condition which I had to accept, when she allows then only I can get you to live with me , I tried for many years but it was only 3 days back that she sended me message about your arrival . Baby girl don't think she was bad or something , she made the choice which was best for you. I was married with 6 kids she wanted no bad light on you , she loved you more than anything . " wow he looks exactly like
" Dad we are waiting " one of them brings me out of my thought.
" yes yes " . Before he can even speak I burst out crying and run outside the palace . They are shouting my name but nothing stops me until I reach main iron gate . The gates are closed , I try to open them but nothing happens . I just cry myheart out ,holding thoes gates on my knees . I am strong I know but what did I ever do , that I was left alone like that . Varun is defending my mother but if she ever loved me why she did that . My own mother kept me away from my family, my father , brothers but why. She sold me when I was two. I cry until I see black.
