You love me less now

It pains me, seeing you adore me less everyday.

The spark in your eyes are starting to dim. You can now last a day without talking to me. You can now ignore my tears. It's as if on every argument you have to win. I am not counting the wins here. This is not Gin Rummy, how come your counting tabs?

It pains me when I see you not reacting to my sentiments. 

"It hurts me."

"I'm crying"

You'll resort to not talking to me, in the guise of .. 

"I'll give you your time muna."

Maybe I just grew up as a really strong woman. I know I have trouble expressing or showing vulnerability, but that doesn't mean that I'm not hurting. Maybe guys like vulnerable girls, someone who can cry in front of them?

It pained me when I ask you this question

"Do you like me less now?"

Your answer was just ..

"No."

Without explanation. Not a single word of assurance. 

I told you again the next day ..

"Do you love me less now?"

This time, it's a statement. 

Because I know. 

It shows. 

Still, you answered me with a "No."

Loud and clear, babe. 

Say no more.
