Seraphina and Samael Black lived a hard, traumatic life. They saved their world, what you would call the Divergent series, and then died a horrific, tragic death; having sacrificed themselves for the ones they loved. The twins were then transported to Olympus, realm of the gods... which was dying.
To the twins surprise, they were being made into a full blown Titan/Titaness, taking over for the late Nyx and Nike, along with Chronos and Chaos; but there was a catch. They could only keep their Titan/Tintaness status as long as they helped right the wrongs in other timelines; Such as Reign, The 100, The Vampire Diaries, Game of Thrones, etc. Of course, what the twins didn't know is that these timelines are a lot different than the ones they knew.
But even more surprising was that the Gods and Goddess we have came to know and love, were dying; withonly Chronos and Chaos remaining to teach the new King and Queen of Olympus. The rest of the Gods/Goddesses/Titans/Titanesses' committed so many sins, that they were plagued with dark magic that slowly killed them all until only two remained; Chronos and Chaos. They needed replacements quickly and their first chosen were the twins. They would be sent down to find people worthy of Olympus and help rebuild it too. They would help train the new hand picked Gods and Goddesses.
The twins were sent down into the bodies of Anastasia and Alexander Gilbert, twins born to Miranda and Grayson Gilbert. With their younger twin siblings, Elena and Jeremy being born only 10 months later. Along with their Aunt Jenna and younger cousin Margaret, born only two weeks after Elena and Jeremy. Being trapped in the body of an infant was hard for the twins but Ana and Alex grew up quick, noting all the changes already. Other than the fact that they were twins and had soulmates, things were.. off with this timeline.
Their parents didn't look the same since they were Chronos and Chaos, pretending to be parents. And training them to take over as King and Queen of Olympus. Their friends didn't have the same personalities as they had in the show, even having siblings that weren't there before. Elena and Jeremy were twins, instead of being cousins and Jenna lived with them. Jenna also had a daughter from an unknown man, that was originally the younger sister of Elena from the books. The Fells had become the Lockwood's and the McCullough's were now the Bennett's. Everything was different, almost a mix of the books and show, with a few more changes sprinkled in. The twins could no longer predict the future timeline unless Ana or Alex had a vision, which wasn't very often.
And then May 23, 2009 came. The fateful night for the two Gilbert parents along with Jenna but nothing happened to them that night as they drove ahead of their children. Instead Elena, Margaret, and Jeremy sat in the back seat as Ana and Alex sat in the front while they passed over Wickery bridge. Their parents car lights had just drifted around the corner when suddenly the bridge began to crumble and the car fell through the cold air, into the dark waters below. Ana and Alex used their magic to open the doors, then cutting the seatbelts so they could swim away. Alex followed closely behind, not realizing Ana was caught by something... or someone.
