Backstory: Orla was born two and a half years after her sister Freya left for the Jedi temple. Not long after, she was taken along with her village into slavery by Zygerrians. Separated and sold separately from her parents, she never really knew them and so never really had an attachment. She was freed at the age of six by Jedi master Aayla Secura. Master Secura brought her back to the temple and insisted that despite her age, especially given her background, that she be allowed to train. The Jedi council allowed it, putting her in a padawanship to Plo Koon after three years of training at the temple. Orla was initially VERY hesitant at the idea of a master again, but, Plo was different. However, though her past is dark, she still tries to view things on the positive side. The Zygerrians failed to break her spirit. She is still bright but can be closed off on topics like abuse, her past, and still can have trouble with harshness. Orla is serious, bright, happy/optimistic, powerful, and a gentle yet fierce individual.
(Honestly, this guy is a father to clones, younglings, and an uncle to some other Jedi. He is so lovable and you can't tell me he isn't a good hugger)
Orla is unaware that she has a sibling, let alone one in the Order. Orla remains close to Aayla in a similar way that Ahsoka, new Padawan to Anakin Skywalker (the youngest knight in the Order, as he is Orla's age), is to her master, Plo Koon. Orla had talked to Ahsoka often, as Ahsoka was quite advanced, and formed a close relationship with the young togruta. Orla and Ahsoka saw each other, to a degree, as sisters. Orla has yet to meet 'Soka's new master, but won't have to wait much longer.
