Actual Chapter One

-October 16-

It was a chilly yet comforting afternoon, as Aria walked by the busy shops and leaves as they fell in seemingly perfect harmony. Pretty basic, isn't it? And that's just how she likes it.

Her phone buzzed and she pulled it out of her back pocket. It was a missed call and voicemail notification from her dad. She didn't talk to him anymore. Not after what had happened. She ignored it and went on with her day, strolling past the markets and tiny stores with a cup of coffee in her hand.

After then she found a cute flower shop and skipped inside. She wasn't paying attention and accidentally tripped on an older guy, probably late twenties. "Watch where you're going, bitch" he scoffed. She ignored this, trying to get the coffee off her shirt that was spilled.

All of a sudden, an older girl, with a nervous look on her face and a badge that reads, "Sammy" with a smiley face, rushes over with a towel and bends over to start getting the spilled coffee off her nice shirt.

"I'm so so so so so sorry about him. That's Arthur, our manager. He's not very friendly." she stuttered. "I sort of got that impression" she giggled. Sammy then gave her this charismatic smile, and they locked eyes for a few seconds, and Aria looked away and showed a slight grin.

She apologized once more as Aria assured her it wasn't her fault and she was fine, and she headed out of the flower shop, regretting not asking for her number.
