Okay. I don't really get scared at movies. Let's just clarify that. And I'm not grossed out by blood, or guts, or any gore stuff like that.
I just watched Jeepers Creepers, and I was very excited throughout the whole movie, because I was really interested in it.
It was good.
But that last scene when the song Jeepers Creepers is playing, and it shows Darry's body is hanging with 2 big holes where his eyes were, really messed with me.
Listen, I've seen worse scene, for example, I've seen a sense with a gutted person. And hey, in that one part where Darry goes into the pipe and sees all the dead bodies, that didn't mess with me either, I was just excited to see what was going to happen.
I have no idea what messed with me in the scene where his eyes were gone, but I felt awful.
I don't know if any of you have read Stephen King's book, "IT" (I'm sure you've seen the movie) I haven't read the book either, but I've listened to a few chapters. Well, there's this one chapter, I think it's called cleaning up, and Stan tell his friends about how he went through a scary incident like all the other kids. And he said he was scared, but he was also offended.
That's how I felt. I felt offended during the scene that scared me in Jeepers Creepers. It wasn't even scary but it MESSED with me. It OFFENDED me! It messed with me so bad, I was about to cry. It sounds ridiculous, but it's true!
I don't know...I felt offended, confused, and...I don't want to say scared but I think there was something like that too.
This is ridiculous. I sound so stupid. I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense, I just had to write it down to explain it better.
But, it was a good movie. The monster did kind of remind me of It for "IT" because they're kinda like the same thing. Would recommend the movie, it's very suspenseful.
Comment if you've ever felt like this during a part in a movie or book.
Quick edit: When I saw him without his eyes, it took me a minute to say, but I asked my dad "is he dead?" I'm so dumb, HE LITERALLY HAD HOLES THROUGH HIS FACE LOL
Another edit: what makes this part even worse, is before it shows his body, you hear him screaming while the bad guy is taking his eyes out, while the Jeepers Creepers song is playing. Then, before it shows the doctor and Darry's body, the screaming stops and you can only hear the song. So the old crazy lady, when she said one of them (when I say one of them I mean Darry or Trish) would be screaming their last screams down a dark hallway, you would've thought it would have been at the police station, and when it didn't happen there you thought it would happen, BUT OH NO IT DID. I really didn't expect Darry to die.
And now the song's gonna be stuck in my head hhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahah.....haha...heh...yeah....
