Callum was his name. The name of a boy who was strange to the outside world. No one understood what he was thinking and questioned what he was doing. Why?

At a young age Callum was exposed to a lot. He never went to school because his father forced him to learn what he wanted to teach him. Even though his father was cruel and harsh when teaching him, Callum did exceed. Callum had an IQ higher than any average kid his age. From Callum being taught this way he began developing strange personalities. His father thought that crying or being happy was a sign of weakness and enforced this on his son. Callum started to lack emotion. He kept a straight face on so no one knew the truth. He grew up in isolation until he was older. Callum was able to run away but kept the same personality he was always taught.

He found a job at age 20 and soon found out he was the youngest in his department. He soon got recognition when he solved a case on a missing man that took them 9 years of research. Although many of his coworkers were pleased to have him on their team, others were not. Over the next two years Callum would solve over 70 cases by himself. His IQ to solve crimes made him the top detective. This led more people to come out and want him to solve the cases the original people weren't able to. Some of these cases were happiness for the family or sorrow for what they needed to hear but all of these things or emotions that everyone was feeling, was one emotion for one man. Callum never found it hard but one thing he did find hard was the reason everyone was happy. He just didn't know why.
