Caspian

Working a double shift is exhausting to say the least, but it was almost over as it was closing time. Though that did get him wondering, where-

"Hey Cas! You have time for one more?" a familiar voice broke his train of thoughts. There they are.

"Hi Sherb, ya i got time for one more." Sherbert, a common customer and good friend walk through the door. Yes, it was technically time to close but Sherbert is an exception, not only because they're dating Caspians childhood best friend Momboo but also because they're a close friend. (definitely not because he have a crush on their brother and they will sell him out)

"The usual i presume?" Caspian says looking down at the tablet

"Yep, although can you make Rae's decaf?" they ask as they approach and lean on the counter.

letting out a sigh, he dropped hands to the side, looks at Sherb for a quick moment, then went back to typing in they're order "He's not sleeping again, is he?" he asks even though he already knew the answer.

"Ya. Ya nope, not sleeping" just as predicted. looking back up at Sherbert though, when he finished up with the order is when he gets confused. They had this look on their face that he couldn't quite pinpoint. "What's with that face"

"Ohh- its nothing, really" okay now i know their just teasing me. "It's just, you know with Rae's sleep deprived state he doesn't often know what-" pausing, giving Caspian this grin that immediately sent heat to his cheeks. "Or whom he rambles about."

Trying to ignore the definite red face, he responds with the classic "I don't know what you're talking about" as he gets the first drink ready to only be greeted by an 'are you kidding me' look and a "Really Caspian? That's the route you went down"

Only to respond with "By saying that the way you did, you're saying I could have gotten away with the very obvious red face."

"Well if you're almost finished up, you can come home with me if you would like. Momboo is there so you wouldn't have to just hang out with a very tired Rae." they started with a bit of a chuckle.

"Ya I'll do that, let me just head to the back and ask one of them to close up for me." he said handing them their drinks and kinda running to the back room.

Entering the back room three other people are there, Will, who was Sherbert's, Rae's and Athena's cousin, Seven, who was here still because Will is (he think they're dating but he don't know) And Ven, who kinda just works there.

Walking past Will to grab his stuff and tell him he's off, only to receive a small nod and a look from Seven, who was sitting across from him, which told Caspian everything he needed: "He's responding to emails, just go." Will was still in school, this was only a part time job, so that's what he thinks it is at least.

Walking back out to find Sherbert to only see them on the phone and if he had to guess by the fact that they were trying so hard to keep their laugh in it was Athena or Momboo on the other end. As soon as they spot him though, they quickly said something and hung up to then burst out laughing. 

"I have a feeling i don't want to know" he said with a chuckle, making his way towards them. 

"No, its fine. Can we go now?" they're voice hoarse from the violent outburst of laughter.  

"Sounds good to me." he spoke quickly, as they walked out to their car.
