"What are you doing?" asked Eric.

I didn't know why, but I let him in after he sensed my weak mana and easily identified me. Every mage had a unique magical presence and guys as talented as Eric could sense them. I hated the fact that I sucked at magic.

Just like every other time, I wasn't going to answer to Eric. He had no authority over me. "That is none of your business." I shrugged and folded my arms. "But I would like to know what's real reason behind you coming here brother. I want to know the truth. Spit it out."

Eric blinked his eyes and like anyone who had something to hide, he stood up looking away dismissively. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Oh please, cut the crap!"

The only time I ever raise my voice at Eric is when he does annoy the shit out of me, which was exactly what he was doing now.

"Why did dad send you here? Let's start at the beginning with those three psychos lurking in the woods!"

"What do you mean by three psychos?" Eric looked at me.

I smirked at him and folded my arms. "See, you know exactly what I'm talking about."

Realising what I was doing, he pressed his lips in a hard line and then he turned around. "I don't know what this place is, Dorrek, but I suggest you go back to campus where it's safe!"

"Where are you going?"

"Not your business!" He threw my previous line back at my face and walked out the door.

The nerve, the cheek. It was always okay for Eric to lie but never okay for me to lie. I hated him and as much as I did right now, I wanted answers. Agreus was too busy dealing with a problem which I apparently caused and for once in my life I was growing tired of causing problems. So followed Eric.

He walked into the woods and I was right behind him. It looked as if he was deep into thought, not even bothering to be vigilant until he finally did notice me and he stopped walking.

"Are you following me?" He asked me and turned around glaring. "You've got to be kidding me!" He threw his hands into the air. "When will you ever take me seriously?"

"Never," I said and shrugged. Eric scoffed and threw his hands in the air again in defeat.

"I give up. Do whatever you want Dorrek, but if they do find us and manage to capture you it's all on you!"

"I am struggling to see how that is your problem..." I whispered and moved closer, fidgeting with my fingers. "Or let's make a deal brother, for old times sake. You tell me who the fuck those people are and I will stay out of your hair. Do we have a deal?"

Eric looked at me suspiciously. Usually whenever he made a deal with me, it never turned out well for him like the time I promised to make him a milkshake if he agreed to do my math homework for me, which he did. I did make him to the milkshake but I peed in it. The face he made when he drank it was priceless.

"Fine." He agreed and huffed, scratching the patch around his neck. "You are bound to find out in anyway..."

"Hmph!" After finally having my way I was satisfied. I looked around as for once to is forest was creeping me out especially when Agreus wasn't around me. Regardless I went to sit on a rock so I could listen to Eric. "You can start talking. I want to hear every detail and you better not try to run, because Agreus is just a phone call away and he will beat the shit out of you if I don't make you talk."

Eric gulped and it was clear how much he did fear Agreus. I surely loved using his name to inflict fear in others.

"Now where do I begin..." he said to himself before also sitting down. "I'll start at the beginning then. There is something I need to tell you, something our parents hid from you since the day you were born."
