"Pretty please Olly? Will you take me with you? I wanna see what you do for work." I'm trying to convince Oliver to take me with him because truthfully I don't want to be alone after what happened last night and I'm curious about what being a mafia leader entails.
"It's gonna be boring. I have paperwork to do today and that's it. It might be dangerous." He says sternly.
"I have my phone and books for when I'm bored. I just really want to know what you do and to be honest I don't want to be alone." I say truthfully and hopefully.
He sighs. "Fine but you have to stay with me at all times." I nod my head excitedly.
"You have" he looks down at his watch. "An hour to get ready and then I'll come and get you and we'll go down to the car." I nod my head again.
When he walks out of the room I go to the closet and decide to find something more casual today.
Willows outfit:
I quickly loose curl my hair and put light makeup as well as some clear blue light glasses I have.
Once I feel somewhat confident in my outfit I look for my kindle so I can read while we're there. I'm currently reading I'll Always Be With You by Monica Murphy. I really like her books.
Oliver knocks on the door when I find the kindle so I stuff it in my purse and then open the door.
"Are you ready to go?" He says while looking me up and down with a smirk and I feel heat raise to my cheeks and down my neck.
"Yep let's go Joe." I say nervously.
"Joe?" He laughs. His laugh is so beautiful. I can feel the butterflies again. He should smile and laugh more often. It makes me want to drop to my knees.
"Yeah you kinda look like a Joe sometimes you know." I say while my cheeks flush so much it almost burns. He just laughs again and we make our ways downstairs to his beautiful black Corvette.
The drive is mostly filled with me talking and him listening as I drone on and on. I stop once I notice I've been talking for to long. I don't want to annoy him or upset him.
He looks over at me with a confused look in his eyes. But he doesn't push which I'm very thankful for. My ex definitely did a number on me. In many ways.
Once we pull up to his work he takes me by the hand until we arrive at an office. It's a pretty basic cold guy office. It's mostly black and brown in color. It could use some redecorating really.
I sit in a big black couch and read on my kindle while he sits at the desk and starts his paperwork.
I finished a book and I'm halfway through another one when Oliver says he has to go deal with something and to stay where I am.
I kinda want to go out the door.
I shouldn't.
I really shouldn't.
Suddenly I'm walking.
When I open the door I peak out but I don't see anything but doors in a hallway. Well that's boring. I step out and walk down the hallway until I find a target practice room. There's no one in so why not.
I walk over and pick gun up off a table and hold up the gun. I shoot the dummy and I get it perfectly in the middle of the head. I move to the next one. Right in target again.
Wow I'm really good at this.
"I thought I told you to stay put." I hear from behind me. I turn around and put the gun down one the table and Oliver is standing there with an amused look on his face, leaning against the doorframe.
"Um. I don't remember that. Did you say that?" I ask, playing dumb. I really hope he's not upset. I don't think he is but you never know.
"Your really good at that. Have you ever held a gun before?" He asks with an amused glint in his eyes and a small smirk on his incredibly handsome face.
"Nope." That's a lie. I have one time, but I can't tell him that yet.
"I'm all done with work for today but I have a surprise for you if your up for it." He says suddenly nervous. He's so cute I could pinch his cheeks, but that would be weird so I won't.
I nod my head with the biggest grin on my face. And he turns and motions for me to follow him. We quickly grab our stuff from his office and make our way down to his car.
"So...Where are we going?" I ask impatiently. We've been in the car for at least twenty-five minutes and I'm getting bored and impatient.
He looks over at me and shakes his head. He doesn't say anything and keeps driving on an empty, deserted road.
This is boring as hell bro.
The yellow grass and dirt slowly turns into flowers, roses specifically. It's absolutely breathtaking. I feel a smile stretch across my face as the road turns and leads us directly into the flowers.
When I look over at Oliver he has a small grin on his face and is staring intently at me instead of the beautiful flowers.
