Arianna was supposed to wake up like every day in her bed, wake up, get dressed, and go to work. But today she woke up in a completely new place.
Everywhere she looked around was nature. The bushy environment made her hesitate before she arose. Grass, fallen leaves, weeds…. It seemed as if green was the only colour that existed in the world. The trees blossomed with fruit. The vines, as funky as ever. Maybe this was just a dream from her collection of nightmares. The area full of life seemed so peaceful. Of course, as any other person would do, she pinched herself. Real hard in the face. No, she was awake. For sure she was.
She scanned her environment once again, but not a single sign of life was near her, except for the small beetle on her arm. Speaking of beetles, she realised. Yelling furiously as she panicked. She had a huge fear of bugs. Her voice echoed around the area, as she screamed in fear.
Her terrified scream scared the beetle away, it flew off her arm and hastily scattered away. She breathed a sigh of relief and immediately gasped when she heard rustling from the bushes.
She glanced around, making sure that there was absolutely no one and quietly tiptoed towards the bush. Slowly but cautiously, she brushed aside the leaves and looked at what lies behind the seemingly endless green.
"HAIYA!" Someone shouted and leapt onto Arianna.
"AAAAH!" Arianna screamed, she had expected animals, roaches, even aliens, just not some other human leaping on her.
When she looked at the human who jumped on her, she gasped. She was tall and thin, with long dark hair. Menacing eyes glared at her and she whipped out a tree branch and pointed it at her throat. She was wearing a beige shirt and white short pants, with a belt around her waist, a matching white hat on her head and dark brown leather boots that finished the look.
"Please! Don't kill me! I need to become famous first!" Arianna cried desperately.
"Shut up! Who the heck are you?! What are you doing here?!" The woman exclaimed.
"I'm Arianna! I'm a normal 25-year-old who didn't go to college and works as a florist with 262 followers on Instagram. Please don't kill me.."
"Huh.. so you're no one special. You know what, just stick with me for now. You're bound to die either way." The mysterious woman sneered. "I'm Grace, by the way."
Arianna eyes widened, she couldn't believe her luck. From nearly being murdered to walking with the murderer.
Grace and Arianna walked in silence, but unfortunately, they had no idea where they were going.
