i did too. gyuvin looked at the message. he was dumbstruck. maybe its because now he has a way to communicate to ricky without interacting with him in real life. he smiled, maybe this was going to be better than he thought.

ricky chuckled, his friend, seungeon has been telling him that since he started to smoke. it was like ricky has lost all hope in life again. and is just counting his days in this world.

"i know, seung. trust me i know." his raspy voice said as he took another long drag out of the cigarette. his friend just watched in disbelief. the chinese sighed, "i know you have a lot of questions, hit me."

at school, they were paired up together for their projects. gyuvin was paired up with the principals daughter, lee jimin. she was kind, smart and pretty. very pretty. most guys in the school secretly liked her. gyuvin wasn't gonna lie, his gay ass even had a crush on her before, but that was long gone . jimin sat herself down next to gyuvin, making him smell her peachy perfume. she never changed it.

her big eyes looked up to gyuvins, "so! lets get started." the project was to make some sort of essay about this chemical or something? he didn't really care. chemistry is just not his favourite subject.

jimin kind of already knew gyuvin was gay as heck and didn't have much interest in her, so she felt at ease when talking with him knowing he's probably not going to say some dirty stuff to her. gyuvin is the type of guy to be unpredictable and he could do random stuff sometimes without even knowing.. it's something that makes him unique, i guess.

whilst jimin was peacefully planning out how they were going to do the project, gyuvins eyes landed on ricky and eunha. it was so obvious eunha was blushing whenever ricky leaned in to listen to what she was saying so that he can hear more clearly. and it was definitely obvious she was talking in a small voice to get him to do that too. gyuvin scoffed. pathetic.

"okay so i think i got all the steps to make this project. are you free after school to come to my house to do it?" the girl besides him asked, she looked up to see gyuvin staring at someone. following where his eyes were staring at she stopped upon seeing ricky and eunha. "alright gyuvin its time to stop being a lil rainbow flag and focus on our project here!" she teased, playfully smacking him on the arm. (it was really hard as well.)

"owwww!! what was that for!" he whined, rubbing the sore spot. jimin rolled her eyes and smiled, "you like ricky?" she asked, nodding her head towards the blonde guy.

"im surprised you don't." gyuvin replied raising an eyebrow at jimin. "no dummy! i like josh!" she whispered-shouted. the boy had an o-shaped mouth, "oh.... so thats why i saw you staring at him on the bleachers whilst pretending to be doing english homework... OHHHHHHH..." he said loudly, making jimin slap her hand to her forehead in disappointment.

"josh likes you, 100%." gyuvin whispered to jimin, looking at josh to see if he was staring. that caused for the girl to turn bright red. she went back to asking him if he could could come to her house for the project and he agreed. he'd do anything to avoid his parents right now.

GYUVINS POV.

i miss him.

okay i know its like 1pm right now, the most randomest time in the day to complain about my love issues but really who gives a fuck!

jeonghyeon approached me today and asked if we can go on a date, i agreed. but i wish it was him.

i wish it was him who is jeonghyeon, i wish it was him who's going to take me out on a date. i wish none of this could've happened.

i'm feeling weird. the past few days i have been thinking about ricky and ricky only. it's just weird. i can't stop thinking about him and it's starting to make me concerned. he was nowhere to be seen, i couldn't see him at lunch or any of my classes. it's like he's simply disappeared.

but i should get used to it by now.

after all, he left me just the same maybe a little bit more crueler 4 years ago.

goddamnit i love him.

i knew transferring to a new school was always a fucking bad idea. now i'm back to hopeless ricky, trying to forget his feelings for his bestfriend for 14 years.

why is life so complicated? i just want to have a normal life without a cute puppy looking like boy's father to have a stick up my ass.

when he texted me i knew that i fucked up.

i want to hold him, kiss him, mark him and make everyone know he's mine but fuck. i can't do that all because of a fucking old man.

after all, i'm the one who left gyuvin alone when he was just 14, 4 years ago.
