When Dipper woke up it was already night. It was freezing cold and in the darkness of the room he couldn't find a blanket. He quietly walked down the squeaking stairs and looked around in the living room. There wasnt a blanket to be seen. He tried looking in some cabinets when he found a mysterious ring. It was gold with a little triangle in the center. Weird. He put on the ring and all of a sudden he wasn't cold anymore. Without looking any further he went back to bed and kept the ring.

The next day he asked about it to uncle Stan. "Uncle Stan is this your ring?" Uncle Stan turned his head and inspected the ring. "No, but it looks good on you kid. You should keep it." Dipper was a little confused. Why was there a weird ring that uncle Stan didnt know the existence of in here? Before he could ask anything else uncle Stan just walked away and went back to cooking pancakes. While having breakfast Dipper remembered about the triangles in his room. "Uncle Stan why are there so many triangles in my room? Is it a special design?" Uncle Stan sighed, "whats it with you and all the questions today kiddo? I have no idea maybe the architect just liked triangles who knows? I haven't been in that room for a while anyway." Dipper just nodded. Maybe he was overthinking the whole thing way too much. It could've been just a coincidence, who knows? No, there werent such things as coincidence's. He was gonna find out why all these strange things have been happening, even if it was the last thing he'd do. "Can I explore the woods today?" Gruncle Stan just made an agreeing sound.

While walking towards the woods he was thinking about how he was gonna find an answer to all these weird things. Would he look for triangles? Were there even gonna be any triangles in the woods? Were the woods even connected to all these things? Maybe he should look further in the Mystery Shack. No, gruncle Stan would ask him what he was doing and he wasn't gonna be able to make up an excuse. He just started looking for more triangles that looked like the best option. While he was looking he heard a weird noise. Maybe it was a deer or something? He started slowly walking towards it and found a boy sitting on a stone, reading what looked like a book. Before he could say something the boy looked up and waved. "Heyy! Are you also exploring the woods?" Dipper nodded, "Yes I am, what are you reading?" The boy closed his book and showed him the front. 10 mysterious creatures you can find in the woods. "I have never heard if that book, where did you buy it?" The boy shrugged, "I don't know I just got it from my grandma. Do you maybe wanna help me look for them?" Dipper wasn't sure if he could trust the boy. He quickly inspected him, as if he could see if the boy was untrustworthy. He had blond hair with a black sweater and beige pants and black shoes. His lashes were very long and the perfect black shade. They matched with his black sweater. He had hazel brown eyes and small pupils. He was actually quite handsome now that Dipper looked at him. You know what its always nice to make new friends, so why not? It could also help him find more triangles. "Sure ill tag along! Where are we going first?" The boy flipped some pages and pointed at a picture with a deer on it. It was a white deer with glowing blue spots on its back. "Do those exist in real life?" Dipper asked. "Yes I recently saw one, they are very pretty!" Dipper was amazed. "Really? In that case lets go find one."

After a while of looking for the deer and following some tracks they finally saw one near a cave. They looked at it through some bushes and the boy made a picture of it with his little polaroid camera. "Let me write the date on it." The boy grabbed a marker out of his bag and started writing on the white stroke of the polaroid. "What is your name?" He asked. "Dipper." "Thats a cool name, its just like the stars!" "What is your name?" Dipper asked. "Bill." The second he heard that name his head really started to hurt. "Shit im having migraine." The boy put his finger on Dippers head and made a weird symbol on his head. Dipper's migraine disappeared immediately. "What did you just do?" Dipper asked. "Its something I learned a long time ago, it helps me a lot with migraine." Dipper just shrugged it off but deep down he felt a weird feeling. Like something was growing inside him. He didn't know what it was. He couldn't describe it but it was definitely there. Maybe this boy had something to do with it.
