☻ ︎nola pov.

this is so fucking stupid. i thought to myself making my way towards the detention room.

this is my first detention and i didn't even do anything wrong.

☻ flashback

"fuck off, you're nothing but a pathetic little asshole" i spat to mr. lee

he was telling me about how i'm just a a nepo baby after failing my science exam by one fucking point.

he even insulted my brother infront of the whole class which made me more furious than i am already.

matthew has nothing to do with this.

"that's it!" he screamed "detention for you miss seok! i will not tolerate this behavior in my class!"

i just rolled my eyes took my backpack and made my way outside not caring that the class isn't over in like 30 minutes.

as i stepped in the unfamiliar room i was immediately met with a face i didn't except to see.

"matthew!?" i exclaimed surprised seeing him, his face full of dried blood and bruises.

i huffed as my sister ran up to me checking my body for more bruises.

"stop nola, i'm fine i promise" i reassured her "besides that i came out lucky" i watched as she scanned around the room shocked seeing 6 of my friends also being covered in bruises worse than me.

she sat beside me and asked with a small whisper "what happened?"

☻ ︎flashback

we were fighting for quite a time now.
me, jiwoong, hanbin, hao, gyuvin, gunwook, yujin and junhyeon were fighting baek dohyun behind our school building. for 1 against 7 he was pretty strong as i saw the other guys getting bad bruises.

why? you may ask, well dohyun has always been a complete asshole with nothing but rich parents behind his back.

we never cared about him until he started to stalk suyeon after they broke up being in a relationship for 1 year.

back then we just tried to make sure he knows we hate him.

after that he tried to get together with vivian, cat called her and whatever but she obviously always refused.

we told him many times to stop but of course he didn't listen. he didn't care about what he was doing knowing his parents can always buy his way out of everything.
i hated them for that.

jiwoong almost began to fight him after dohyun tried to touch yewon and minseo inappropriately but we held him back saying he needs to wait a bit.
