Lucy trudged into school and headed to homeroom. Despite the fact that it was her birthday, her math teacher wasn't about to forgive her three unfinished homework assignments. Ugh! Her math teacher, Mr. Krowin, hated her! And everyone else in the seventh grade.
Lucy went to her locker and got her books for math, science, english, and french. She liked science and french, but math and english were her hardest subjects, not to mention her least favorite. Her english teacher wasn't that bad, but english was just really boring. Math, well I already told you about math. Lucy headed into homeroom.
Lucy's homeroom was made up of the most annoying people in the seventh grade except for her best friend Carly and her other friends Nancy and Emily. Nancy and Emily were always hanging out with a group of popular kids, so Lucy wasn't great friends with them. She did count them as friends though since she didn't have many.
