remember the rules from pt. 1 and especially that Molli doesn't need to have beaten the mansion to "use the charm"
ALSO big thanks to my friend Eia for helping out with the writing process! She let me use some of her ideas, so I'm putting credit where it is due <3

It had been a few weeks since Olly had decided to team up with Molli, and they were still no closer to escaping the mansion than they had been to begin with. They were barely clearing the library and Necro Witch each time, but with Olly's help, Molli was getting through it easier. They were currently resting in some random treasure room, trying to catch their breaths.
"Damn, I swear she gets harder to clear each time." Molli said, plopping down on the couch in the corner. Olly sat down on the armchair next to the fireplace and closed his eyes, looking very tired. Molli looked over to Olly with a worried look on her face.
"Hey, Olly, you doing okay?" She asked, sitting up.
"H-huh? Yeah... I'm alright... I-I guess." He sniffed, rubbing his face with his hands. "I'm j-just so tired of th-this place... all the s-scary monsters ch-chasing us around, all the t-time!"
He let out a frustrated cry and dropped his hands, letting his flashlight fall and roll under the chair. Molli got a really sad look on her face, then decided to go comfort him. She got up and walked over to him real sneaky, then surprise-attacked him with a hug.
"AGHGHHHWJHDBJKMFLFBR" Olly screamed out, nearly falling out of his chair. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?"
"Umm..." Molli backed off. "I just wanted to cheer you up... did it work?"
"W-well, I g-guess so..." Olly blushed and looked away, fixing his glasses that had slid halfway off his face.
"I'm sorry if that wasn't okay, I just didn't know what else to do." Molli said, sheepishly. She turned away and went back to her couch, plopping down again. "Anyways, are you hungry? I think I've got a few spare candies here somewhere..."
Molli began rummaging around in her pockets, pulling out a green, sticky heart. She shuddered, then shrieked. Tossing it to the side, she yelled, "IT BLINKED!"
"Huh?" Olly said, confused, turning around in his chair to face her.
"I... I pulled out a- a thing- and it blinked at me!!" She looked in the direction she tossed it in, but couldn't find it. "I think it was a candy gone bad or something, or like a wonky magic experiment..."
"That s-sounds horrible... I h-hope I never see one of those th-things, ever." He turned back around in his chair and closed his eyes again.
"I'll see if I have anything else." Molli continued to search through her pockets, picking out pieces of lint and old candy wrappers. She finally pulled out a cute little heart lollipop, wrapped in pink cellophane and tied with a little bow.
"Umm... do you want this?" Molli got up and handed it to Olly, blushing the whole time.
"Wha- yeah- u-uhm, sure! Th-thank you..." Olly was majorly blushing as he reached out and grabbed the heart lollipop. Olly began to slowly unwrap it before quickly biting the candy off the lollipop stick.
Molli stood still, shocked at what she was seeing. "Wha- why are you eating it like that??"
Olly chewed, swallowed, and took a moment to think. "Umm... I-I guess I've just been used to e-eating candies on the go f-for so long that I automatically eat them as quick as p-possible..."
"That... is valid, I suppose." Molli gave him one last judgmental look before sitting herself down on the carpet in front of Olly's chair. He gave her a questioning glance, so she explained. "I keep having to walk over here, so I might as well just sit here."
