Baking class notes:

I am working with Noobi for this. We were at baking class, and we had to make some cakes and cupcakes. Noobi and I nominated each other. I decided to make the cake, and Noobi decided to make the cupcakes. There were 2 ovens, one for small cakes, and one for large cakes. I decided to make a large red velvet cake, and Noobi decided to make small lemon cakes.

This is all the stuff that Noobi and I need, there might be more. Noobi bought some of his own ingredients. What a creative bundle of joy.

...

This is a weird feeling. I feel my heartbeat faster whenever I am near him, or whenever I hear his voice. I need to calm my brain down. It always gives me these strange feelings..

I don't know what it is, but I will find out soon enough.

Guest mixed the eggs with a whisk while Noobi poured the milk. It made a nice color (If you bake cakes, then you know.)

'Okay, you can stop pouring it now.' Guest whispered so only Noobi could hear. He stopped and put the milk down. Guest saw that it blended perfectly. Noobi picked up the sugar and looked up at Guest, who put the bowl down on the counter. Instead of simply saying the number, Guest held up 5 fingers, to which he was trying to say '5 and a half spoonfuls of sugar.'

Noobi nodded and did as he was 'told'. He did it slowly, measured every spoonful and made sure that it was all even. They all were.

'Good, now I will mix it while you mix the flour and the baking powder together, okay?' Guest whispered, and Noobi nodded. He pulled out an extra bowl from the other counter, and poured some flour, and then some baking powder. He mixed it slowly, making sure that none of it was going to spill and make the counter all messy.

There was a stench of.. something that Noobi could smell. At first, he thought of covering his mouth, which he did, but this stench was strong, and couldn't be ignored. He looked around for a while, until Guest asked, 'Are you okay?'

Noobi was surprised that he jumped a bit, he did not expect it! Noobi took a moment to breathe, before he said, 'Sorry.. I just smell something around the room, I can't tell what it is.. That stench is making me very uncomfortable..'

Guest looked around and started to smell the room. He cringed, indicating that he could smell it too. He gulped and said, 'It smells like it is coming from the left side of the room, I will go and check it out.. you deal with the cake..'

Noobi slowly nodded and continued to mix the flour and the Baking powder.

Guest walked around the room for a bit, smelling the air with every step he took. He looked around at everyone else's ingredients. They seemed normal, there was nothing going on. The air started to smell sweet but savoury at the same time. It was so distracting! He was mesmerised on how people mix the ingredients in so quickly, people believed that Guest's couldn't do that!

He smelt the air constantly.. repeatedly.. the stench was becoming stronger and stronger.. until--

Guest gasped.

The stench was gone.

He looked around, confused. He was very close to it, what happened? The stench was disgusting yet familiar, he knew that he had smelt it somewhere. You can say that anyone can smell blood, and that some people's blood smells just like others, but this one... It was too familiar to be a coincidence! Guest was about to return to his counter, until he smelt it again.

Now he knew that he was close. He turned around, uncomfortably. He wasn't ready to find out what that smell was, but he had to. He walked towards where that smell was coming from, he didn't know whether to be defensive or determined. He was almost there, to the counter it was coming from.

He went closer and closer and closer, and when he was finally there, he-

'Shouldn't you be at your counter?!' An elderly voice said. Guest turned around, surprised. The elderly woman seemed deadly but sweet. Her eyes were beat- red, and they were wide open. The woman scoffed and said, 'Oh, it's just you. Guest, you know that I expect better than this. You already know that you are failing my class, and here you are, walking up to other students desks like a child sneaking up to the kitchen to get a batch of mother's cookies! You shouldn't be here! Go back to your counter, peasant.'

Guest couldn't say anything. He would be punished for it. He slowly nodded and walked away. The woman mumbled something, which sounded like, 'Good that you Guests can't talk' which really offended Guest, because he was a Guest himself. He just sighed angrily, turned around to get the woman a dirty look, before walking back to his counter.

While with Noobi, he was having some trouble too. The cake batter was getting all dried up and was hard to mix. The whisk was bending a bit too much, it was as if it was threatening to fly off at any minute. Noobi sighed tiredly as he continued mixing. He had added too much flour and not enough milk, but he didn't know that.

Guest came back from his so-called, 'journey', and saw Noobi struggling. 'Wha-'

'Guest! I'm so glad you're back! The batter is all dried up, and I can't-!' The cake batter was just getting dry by the second. Guest sighed and picked up the milk, and started pouring a lot of it in the batter. By the time he stopped, the milk carton was already empty. That was his queue to mix it. Noobi started to mix it, it started to loosen up and become softer and softer. And by the time he was done, it was a nice colour, and it was really soft!

Guest put some red food colouring, mixed the cake and put it in the oven, as well as starting the oven.

It was a good day.
