"Can you do something about it"

The exact same words that Yin had been thinking of since yesterday and it's been very troubling because he thinks that he had become someone's babysitter.

"I may be merciful and act on impulse but i won't bother myself with what will happen to him." He muttered, thinking that he's done doing things for others.

With some exception of course.

He is currently in a cafe drinking iced tea on his own.

"I helped him a few times and now they think that they can just order me around like some servant... Hmph! What a nerve" he continued before drinking the iced tea that he ordered.

Thinking about his past actions reminded him of how shallow and emotional his reasons and actions were.

"Come to think of it, why did i even think of helping them‽" He questioned, puzzled by his own decisions in the past.

He keeps thinking about the reasons why he helped them but can't come up with a reason that would satisfy himself this he decided to let his thoughts pass.

As Yin sat in the cafe, contemplating his recent experiences and questioning his motives for helping others, he found himself immersed in a whirlwind of conflicting emotions.

The cool breeze swept through the open windows, carrying with it the ambient noise of the bustling city outside.

Yin's thoughts continued to wander as he stared into his iced tea, the condensation forming small beads on the glass.

The memories of the times he had extended his help to others replayed in his mind like a montage.

Each moment, a snapshot of his own actions, left him contemplating the true nature of his motivations.

"I used to believe in acting on impulse, being merciful without second thoughts. But now, it seems like I've become entangled in a web of obligations," Yin mumbled to himself, his words barely audible over the cafe's background chatter.

The cafe's atmosphere provided a strange solace, offering Yin a moment of introspection amidst the chaos of the outside world.

Yet, his frustration lingered, fueled by the feeling of being taken advantage of.

The question of why he chose to help others gnawed at him, a puzzle he couldn't quite solve.

As he took another sip of his iced tea, the cold liquid served as a reminder of the indifference he wanted to adopt.

Yet, deep down, there was a conflict within him — a struggle between the desire for detachment and an innate compassion that had guided his actions in the past.

"Maybe it's time to set some boundaries," he thought, contemplating the idea of safeguarding his own well-being.

The realization that he couldn't continue to be at the beck and call of others without regard for his own feelings grew stronger.

Lost in his contemplation, Yin remained in the cafe, surrounded by the hum of conversations and the clinking of utensils.

The city outside continued its relentless pace, unaware of the internal battle taking place within Yin's mind.

Whether he would choose to continue being the reluctant helper or embark on a new path of self-preservation remained uncertain in that moment of solitude.

A few days passed and Yin stayed home and watches some films on the television to relieve his boredom.
