Jisung POV:

We walked in comfortable silence to the cafe, only laughing a few times when he would trip over his feet and almost fall. He's very clumsy, but it's kind if cute honestly.

I wonder why he would hug a complete stranger, that's so weird. I mean, of course I hugged back, I would be stupid to not take that chance when it was right there. This guy is fucking hot! No way am I turning down that opportunity. But also, maybe he just needs a friend and I'm an easy target considering we had already had an interaction prior to this.

I lightly shook my head before I got too lost in my thoughts.

"Are you okay?" He laughed as he looked at me.

"I'm fine! Just chilly. You know, you're very friendly for someone I met less than 45 minutes ago." He looked at me with a sad smile.

"You seem like a nice person, and I need more friends.. I was hoping we might be able to get closer, of course, only if you're comfortable with that!" He stuttered lightly over that last sentence and shamefully looked at the ground as he kept walking.

I smiled softly and I ran up in front of him.

"Hey, look at me! I would love to be your friend. I need more friends too, plus you're kind of cute." I lifted his chin up to face me with my index finger.

He grinned as his expression changed from embarrassed to exhilarated.

I chuckled lightly at his reaction,

He's so cute. FUCK! No, I just met this guy? I can't already like him. I literally don't even know his name!

He reached out and ruffled my hair, my eyes widened and I could feel my face getting hotter.

"You're pretty cute too, you know?" I looked away in attempt to hide my face at his compliment.

We continued walking, holding small talk as we approached the cafe. The smell hit my nose like a wrecking ball, it was so strong.. but so good!

I inhaled deeply, taking in the atmosphere as I smiled.

"This smells absolutely delicious.. how did you even find it?" The boy asked, genuinely curious.

"I live around here, and I take late night walks frequently. I pass by it every day, but I only come in to get breakfast sometimes."

He walked in front of me to hold the door, "For you, pretty boy." He smirked.

"Oh shut up! I don't even know your name and we're already in the talking stage?" The warm air blasted my face as I took a step inside.

"Hey! You'll find out soon enough, besides, who says friends can't flirt?" He snickered.

You know damn well what you're doing. DON'T STOP! But still, he knows how flustered this is making me.

The door closed behind him, which lightly shoved him forward and into my back. I whipped my head around to see him and his face was filled with pure horror.

"It's okay! I don't mind." I laughed at him and he let out a sigh of relief.

We made our way up to the counter and he looked down at the ground, clearly anxious.

"Hey, do you want me to order for you?" I placed my hand on his back and he nervously nodded. "What do you want?" He pointed at a croissant and peppermint tea.

I nodded and grabbed his hand, intertwining our fingers to ease his nerves as we stepped towards the counter. The woman behind the register looked us up and down and lightly laughed under her breath.

"How the hell am I the only person still single for Christmas?" She plastered a clearly fake smile on her face as she looked up. "What can I get for you two?"

"Can I please get a peppermint tea and hot cocoa? Oh, and two croissants, warmed up if that's possible!" She wrote down the order.

"Can I get a name to call for when it's done?" She looked at me.

"Yeah it's-" I got cut off when he lifted his head and made eye contact with her. "Minho. Lee Minho." He said half-boldly.

She wrote down his name as we walked to a corner and found a booth to sit down at.

"Why'd you do that?" He looked at me and his gaze softened.

"I'm the one who asked you on the date, so I'm paying." He shyly rested his arms on the table as he fiddled with his hands.

"That's really sweet Minho." I emphasized his name. He beamed up at me.

"You know my name now, can I get yours? Or should I just keep calling you mine?" He snickered at his own pick up line.

"Corny, but yes you can get my name, and my number if you want it." I shocked myself at how bold I was being right now, but for some reason I felt.. comfortable?

His smile widened as he reached into his pocket for his phone and he handed it to me.

I typed in my number and added the contact with my name, then I sent a text to myself to make sure it was right.

"Text me later, I put my name in the contact."

He reached to check the contact but I pulled my arm back.

"Nuh uh, not right now. After this, when you go home, you can text me if you're bored. Until then call me whatever you like." He frowned and gave me puppy dog eyes.

"Hey, just cause you look cute doesn't mean I'm going to change my mind." He gave me an offended look and gasped.

"How dare you hide your name from me! You're so mean!" He dramatically leaned back and turned his head up to the ceiling.

I giggled at his childish behavior. He opened one eye to look at me and see if I was falling for it but when he realized it wasn't working he immediately shut it again.

"I can see you, you know." He lowered his head in defeat.

"Fine! I guess I'll just have to call you babe until I go home later and check my phone." I looked at him and my eyes widened as my cheeks tinted pink.

"Peppermint tea, hot cocoa, and two croissants for Lee Minho!" A worker called from behind the counter as he placed everything on a counter.

I slid out of the booth to get up and grab everything.

"Hey, let me help you!" Minho got up as he walked over to where I was standing by the counter.

I grabbed his tea and croissant to hand it to him, and he gladly accepted the croissant, but when he grabbed his tea our hands touched.

"Sorry! Uhm, here- just.. just take the tea!" I fumbled as I looked away embarrassed and he just smiled at how flustered I got from a simple brush of his hand.

"Don't stress about it baby, I don't mind." I covered my face with the croissant I was holding and speed-walked back to the booth.
