Spencer Kingston

"The warehouse is, under attack." The guard bursted through the door.

I was slightly, surprised. Whoever snuck pass the guards, was very intelligent. My warehouse, especially is very well maintained with security.

"Are you sure?" I lifted my eyebrow. He nodded and pulled out, some footage from the warehouse.

There was one man leading, a whole group of men with a bunch of guns. They were well armed.

"Tell the others to get ready. Every single one of them, who ever stepped into that fucking warehouse. Will be questioned, tortured, and killed." I dismissed him, and quickly put on a vest and grabbed some guns, from my office closet.

When I arrived outside, everyone was already waiting by the cars.

I looked up at the guy, who was sitting right across from me. He was the person above all the security and was one of my most trusted, security. So I was confused, as to how, this happened in the first place.

"Care to explain, how this happened?" I sat back in my seat.

He swallowed a big lump in his throat. "I don't know. It all happened too fast."

"You don't know? I pay you to know and watch things." My jaw cleanched.

I saw the sweat forming on his forehead. The guy was really nervous, not nervous because he fucked up accidentally, because it wasn't an accident. My guess would be this was done purposely. Someone from the inside, had to be the eyes and ears for the outside.

I smirked. "He will be the first example, once we get to the warehouse. I don't like betrayal."

"Wait. No. No. He forced me to-" He voice came out shakey.

"Who? You better tell me fucking, everything."I got closer.

There is most definitely going to be hell to pay.

The information, I was just told. Has me beyond furious. I never liked traitors, especially since Rayne is clueless on this whole act. I'm going to empty my whole, fucking clip on Washington.

"The four of you, go to the east side of the building. The other four take the west. The rest follow me" I already knew where everyone was at. But I wanted one person.

We walked right into the center of the building. I gained some distance from the team behind me.

"I only want to talk, Wellington." I looked around the whole room. He's still quite young, so he doesn't know his father's partner trick ways. Wellington was very naive, but he doesn't deserve to lose his life. I must admit. I don't like him but my want for killing him, isn't there how I want to watch the last breath, Washington take like he watched my mother take hers.

"Yeah. Right."he came out with a gun pointing right at me. "I thought after, our conversation, you weren't going to hurt her." I heard a crack in his voice.

My face grew evident, of confusion.

"What the hell are you talking, about?"

"Rayne. You're going to try to kill Rayne." He chuckled "so before that can happen, I'm going to kill you."

My guards started aiming guns on him.

"Hold it. I don't know what Washington told you, but he's manipulating you. He sent you here as a distraction, he knows I can easily kill you, and that would be a easy way to give you up. He doesn't care about you. He's using you to get to me." I held my hands up.

He froze, as if he was trying to take all this information in.

Wellington fell down to the ground, I was surprised he got shot. I looked back at my team, but none of them shot fire.

Only one person could have did that. I'm not surprised.

"So my father did shoot, Bryce?" Rayne looked at the ground.

"Correct."

"But why?" She still asked confused.

"Because. He wants Bryce killed. Rayne do you understand. He wants him dead so he could be the only one in control. He wants me dead so he doesn't have to watch over his back. He doesn't care about anyone but himself. Only himself and power."

I could see the tears, threatening to escape from her eyes.

"He sees you as a way to gain power. Men would love to be in your presence."She stared at me for a few moments.

"So are you saying..he would also kill Bryce just so another powerful man could get with me or possibly marry me? Just for for more power." She shook her head, erupted with hurt.

I nodded. "I may not be on the best of terms with Bryce. But I'm willing to try to not let anything happen to you or h-"

"Does he know of my father plans?" She finally looked up.

"No," I rubbed my chin. "I tried to tell him. But he quickly retreated. That shot was a way to stop me from telling him."

"Maybe I can tell him." She started nodding her head.

"That would be a good idea. But. How would you have known that information." I smirked.

"Because you just t- oh, right." She bit on her bottom lip looking at the ground again.

"Whatever you wanna say, princesa." I shrugged walking close to her.

"Move. I'm still mad at you."She moved the seat back, with herself still sitting down.

Oh? I'm mad at you, for dancing on another guy.

I chuckled. "And why are you mad at me?"

"You ignored me, Spencer. Like who does that?" She folded her arms.

"I have things to do. I'm not really a technology type of person like you. So I'm not always on my phone, unlike you." I stated truthfully.

"Whatever." she rolled her eyes.

"Rayne." I warned.

"Anyways. My friends are waiting for me." She got up from the seat with attitude and headed for the door.

"You haven't been dismissed yet." I grabbed her arm.

She turned her head towards me and looked right into my eyes.

"Spencer. I have to make sure nothing happens with Bryce. I don't have time for this." her hand motioned towards me.

"Ok." I released her arm.

She looked at me one more time, before kissing me on the cheek and walking out.
