Dammit! Don't tell me... Is it a side effect of those meds!? Kawaki shouted in his mind.
"Boruto!"
Boruto continued grunting in pain as Code sent a claw mark towards him. Huh? What's happening?
For Boruto, it's like time had stopped. White clouds appeared and upon a tree, a certain Otsutsuki appeared, acting all nonchalant. Boruto's eyes widened as he jumped off of the tree, landing perfectly on the ground.
"Even if you halt Karmic extraction with some trifling drug... It's no more than a stopgap measure," he said. Boruto rolled over. "Hello again, foolish lad."
"You! Momoshiki!" Boruto shouted.
It's no good... I can't move! Boruto noted. Kawaki and Code didn't move. In the snowy mountain location, the cyborg siblings didn't move either. And not 'cause I used up all my strength and chakra... It feels like time itself has stopped! This happened before... That day. Right after we took Momoshiki down. That's likely when... he implanted Karma in me!
"Worthless Kara dregs... He's the one who has the Divine Tree seedling... Ten Tails, isn't he?" Momoshiki questioned, looking at the still Code. "What a perfect chance to kill him. Move aside, boy."
"BORUTO!" Kawaki shouted as Boruto suddenly got up and jumped to Code.
In the snowy location, Miyuki played with a stray bird that somehow got in there. "What's going on, Big Sis?" she questioned, her eyes drifting to her sister.
"Even I can't tell at this point. But it looks like Momoshiki's doing," Eida answered.
Momoshiki! Code angrily thought as he saw Boruto's normal eye closed and the Byakugan eye staring into his green eyes.
"Rasengan," Momoshiki calmly said, creating a massive Rasengan. He turned around, seeing Code escaped using his claw marks.
"Ridiculous distructive power. So totally different from Boruto's Karma strength," Code noted. "So this is true Otsutsuki power. No wonder Boro had no chance."
"It'll be the same for you. You'll learn soon enough," Momoshiki said.

"Kawaki's already encountered Code? How do you know?" Amado asked.
"They've confirmed an unknown chakra with Boruto. Signs indicate that they're fighting. Who else could it be?" Sai explained.
"He shouldn't have any sensing abilities. That was way too fast. How the heck did he find Kawaki?" Amado asked himself.
"Maybe there's an ally working with him... like an Outer?" Sumire suggested.
"I won't discount the possibility, but there isn't an Outer who's that skilled either, as far as I know," Amado said.
"I any event, we should take Code's appearance to be a good thing, considering the trouble we had locating him. Lord Seventh's already heading there. So long as we get rid of Code, the existance of any ally won't matter," Sai said. "Are you listening? Or are your ears plugged up with wax?"
