"You still owe me something, Drew. These fruits won't make up for it." Pippa said to Andrew who's now sitting on her couch, watching his usual tv show.
"First of all, that fruits aren't for you. That's for my godchild. And yes, I'm inviting myself to be a godparent. Second, I was really about to tell you about it. If only this stupid fingers didn't decide to just missent things to people." Andrew said.
Pippa laughed, remembering Andrew's text when she was with Steve. Ohhh Steve. What could he be doing right now? Should I text him? No. If he wants to reach out, he'd do it.
"P! Are you blushing?"
"No! I just remembered your text. So you're cooking now huh? BABE?" She smirked teasing Andrew.
"HA-HA. Funny. For the record, that's the first time I did that to someone and it went well for your information. I was supposed to introduce you to her when she came to see the show but you left early that night." Said Andrew who's now busy peeling some oranges.
"When was that??"
"The night Steve fetched you." Andrew said and Pippa immediately remembered.
"Does he know already?" He asked. Pippa shook her head. "Are you even planning to tell him?"
"I do. It's just I'm not yet ready." She said. She made her way to the living room to sit beside Andrew and leaned her head on his shoulder like she always does. "I'm confused, Drew."
Andrew simply looked at her and switched the TV off a moment after.
"We're having a divorce after this show. I used to doubt if he would want the baby. But now I'm positive that if I tell him about my pregnancy, he'll call it off." Pippa said.
"Isn't that great?" Andrew asked.
"He'll call it off because of the baby and not because of me. Not because of us." she said.
"Aren't you two getting along well these days? He's always seeing the show, you're always going out. Things must be improving, right?" Andrew said noticing how things changed between the two of them these past few weeks.
She nodded hesitantly. "That confuses me. Because he's acting like he wants me back when he's the one who initiated the divorce in the first place."
"I hope you figure it out. And when you don't, I'm always a call away." Andrew assured her stroking her back.
"I know."
Andrew bid goodbye to her. As much as he missed sleeping on her couch, he has to go.
Just after she closed the door, Pippa's phone buzzed indicating a new notification.
iMessage notification from Hubz:
[I'll be cooking dinner tomorrow, remember? What time should I pick you up?]Hubz. She still haven't changed Steve's caller ID. Her mouth subconsciously curved forminga a smile as she typed in her reply.
[5 onwards would be good]
She made her way to the bedroom getting ready to sleep when her phone lit up again.
iMessage notification from Hubz:
[Alright. Can't wait to see you. I miss you.]It made her heart beat faster. The two of them texting each other like this made her remember how it feels like way back when they're still dating. She wanted to say she miss him too, she miss all of these, but something is holding her back. So instead she said
