" KIM Y/N is asked to report to the office desk immediately" the office lady's voice boomed across the class disturbing the flow of the math teacher. He was pissed and it made my day because the reason behind that awful face is me.
I am not a sadist but math is my least favourite subject in the world and he has made it his goal that nobody should understand his subject. So, I happily excused myself from the class and went to the office desk. But I was quite surprised to see the colour of the sky to be purple as I was walking across the corridor. I thought to myself to research upon this phenomenon later.
I entered the office desk and Jin Hyung was sitting with a weird expression on his face. I knew this expression by heart, its either he is hiding something from me or is very nauseous from overeating.
JIN'S POV:
"Thank you mam and she may not be able to attend the school for the next few days as we are going on a family trip." I lied to the teacher to avoid any unnecessary calls or disturbances.
"Come on pup, let's go" I took her bag and walked along with her to the car in complete silence . I know I am gonna be bombarded with questions once we are in the car, So I was thinking of the ways to tackle them while replaying the conversation with mom in my mind.
I opened the door for her to hop in and she gave me a puppy glare while hopping in. Her mind is bursting to know what's going on and I am definitely not letting her know until I know its not something related to the NOX LUCIS realm.
I got into the driver seat and started the car engine,3...2...1
"Jin hyung"
"....."
"Hyung"
"....."
"YAA! JIN HYUNG"
"KIM Y/N, Even if your angry how can you call your Hyung YAA!, I have failed to raise you properly.(fake cries)" I tried to lighten the mood and distract her as I couldn't muster up the courage to lie to her.
"Hyung, don't try to change the topic. Tell me what is going on?"
"Nothing is going on"
" Aren't we going on a family trip?" she asked me excitedly.
"Yup, but where we are going is a surprise and I need you to pack quickly because we need to leave to the airport before 5:30 pm"
"Aye aye captain" she gave me an excited salute and started making a checklist.
I was relieved that she believed me, but I am really worried that its not too soon before she has to enter the NOX LUCIS realm without a choice. I and my parents have really done our best to safeguard her from the NOX LUCIS till now. I hope that it remains the same though.
