lacey

I closed my room door and sat on my bed next to Mia who was smiling like crazy.

"Okay so are you going to tell me?" I questioned her.

"Tell you what?" She smiled, knowing exactly what I'm talking about.

"About what happened when you helped Mr. S to his office." I almost shrieked.

"Oh, that." She waved her hand like it was no big deal. "Nothing."

I scoffed. "What do you mean nothing?"

"I mean nothing happened."

I can't believe she kept talking about how much she wanted to have sex with him but never did. But then again, I'm glad she didn't do anything with him because it would be wrong.

"Well good. He's twice your age and its illegal and against school policy." I pointed out.

"Hey, he's like thirty-something and its not illegal if no one knows."

I laughed. "You're so fucked up." I teased.

"Just admit it! You think he's hot and you would totally give him a little piece of lacey."

"No. Don't go there." I said in disgust.

Mia's phone vibrated and she took a look at it and then looked up at me. "Ugh it's Calum again."

"What the hell. Why does he keep calling you?"

"Because you blocked his number and I'm the only way he can get to you."

Calum is my ex boyfriend. He was my first everything. Literally. I broke up with him almost a month ago because he cheated on me twice but was always so overprotective when it came to guys.

I wish he would stop trying to get me to take him back. He broke my heart.

"Well I wish he would stop."

"Okay." She smiled and picked up the phone and answered.

I couldn't hear what Calum was saying on the other line.

"Mhm." Mia nodded. "Yeah, yeah." She smiled. "She'll be there."

She hanged up and looked at me.

"What just happened?" I asked.

"He'll leave you alone for good if you meet him on the football field. In 20 minutes."

"20 minutes? The sun is going down already." I whined, not wanting to go.

"Do you want him to leave you alone or not? Besides, I told him you'd be there."

I sighed and nodded. "Okay, fine."

-

It's been almost an hour and I was sitting down on the bleachers on the first row.

Calum still hasn't showed up. I shouldn't of come. This was stupid.

"Are you alright?" I heard a familiar voice say.

I looked up and saw Mr. Salvatore. I noticed his beauty for the first time. Now I understood why every girl at school felt such affection towards him.

"Yeah, I'm waiting for someone." I mentally slapped myself. "Well was."

He nodded. "Well it's late and it's getting kind of cold. Would you like to come to my office? I could give you a ride home after I finish a couple of plays." He offered.

Well, it was late and Mia did drop me off but she said she wouldn't be able to pick me up and my mom was almost never home.

"Yes, please." I smiled getting up and following him into the building.

When I made it inside his office he grabbed his jacket and wrapped it around me. "Thank you." I heard myself whisper.

He was very intimidating and I couldn't make out why.

"You're welcome. Have I seen you before?" He asked. "You look familiar."

"I'm Lacey Love." I smiled shortly but then remembering his encounter with my best friend. "I'm a cheerleader and Mia's best friend. You know, the one who tried to seduce you earlier today."

He nodded and laughed a little. "Ah. Well, Lacey, may I say that you're absolutely breathtaking."

I felt my cheeks burn. I was becoming nervous not just by his words, but the way he looked at me.

"I'm not." I shook my head in denial.

His fingertips grazed the side of my face, sending a shiver down my spine.

Why did he make me feel this way by just one simple touch? Calum never made me feel this way.

"Please." I choked out. "Don't do that."

"Lacey, I like you."

"What?"

"I know you like me too. Your body is telling me."

He leaned in and looked me in my eyes. "Let me make you feel good."
