When I woke up I was in an unfamiliar place. It was a house but not my house. It was a bedroom but not my bedroom. I sat up slowly I groaned into my hands and went to get up but my legs was a little wobbly from the shock as I started to fall. I closed my eyes tight preparing for the impact but stop as someone caught me
I opened my eyes and it was Melvin. "Hey be careful!" he said helping me stand straight I blushed and looked down knowing I couldn't tell him how I felt
Then out of nowhere he hugged me "I'm glad your okey I thought you was gonna drown I'm sorry I scared you and made you fall in the water!" he said calm and softly he let go shortly after and smiled softly at me. I bit my lip harder trying really hard not to cry but I could feel the tears in my eyes as they went blurry
Tears ran down my face and I sank to the floor putting my face in my hands "why do you have to do this to me Melvin! It's not fair!" I cry out as I remove my hands from my face and wipe my tears and sniff. He looks shocked and sits in front of me "what's wrong?" he says softly placing his hand on my cheek and we both blush
"B-But we're rivals we can't-" I didn't get to finish my sentence as he leans in close inches from my face with a soft gentle smile. I just stare into his eyes as he leans back and stands up and he gives me his hand to help me up I take his hand and he pulls me up as I'm still speechless.
As we walk back hand in hand I stop "Melvin?" I say as he stops next to me and looks over at me "yeah?" he says calm and quietly "please don't tell people I can't swim.." I say as I look away. He places his hands on my cheek and pulls my gently to face his smiling face "ofc I won't" he says and leans in and kisses me on the cheek. We both blush a bit and keep walking "hey aub?" Melvin says "yes?" I say facing him "your cute an all and I want to date you at some point but do you maybe want to take this slow because to be honest I don't have any dating experience heh" he says with a smile on his face
I smile and intertwine are fingers "I'd love to take it slow and to be honest with you" I giggle in the middle of my sentence and continue "I don't have any dating experience ethier" I whisper loudly and giggle again. He looks at me and smiles. Then we both giggle and he kisses me on the cheek once more.
