Professor Guinea Pig and Cliff

The following day Cliff woke up in an unfamiliar room, it looked like the standard hospital room but it had no windows. A voice rang out over the intercom, a familiar voice which sounded odd.

"I see that you're awake, sorry about yesterday, it seems the wine was too strong for us."

"I didn't realise how strong it was because it tasted watery."

"Oh well you're perfectly healthy now, unfortunately something happened that I can't change back, it's nothing big really."

"What happened? Is everything alright?"

"It's fine, I wanted to try grow a tail to help me with my work but I picked the Spider Monkey serum, completely forgot that it was the Spider serum and the Monkey serum mixed into one, oh silly me"

"Oh... " Cliff's voice filled with concern.

"Don't worry about it, it's not harmful or hurting me, in fact it's pretty helpful, for instance just look up."

Cliff looks up.

A large spider is hanging from the ceiling, it drops down just before Cliff's bed and reveals that it has the body of a monkey on top of it like a centaur, a large monkey tail comes out of the abdomen of the spider body. "How do I look? Pretty cool right?"

"Aaah!"

"What are you afraid of spiders? I also have something cool to show you," the tail points at Cliff and shoots some silk tying Cliff to the bed.

"I... I was just startled!" Cliff's voice trembling as he squirms in the silk web.

Professor Guinea Pig unravels the web and helps Cliff stand up from the bed. He looks like he's having fun, same can't be said for Cliff.

Cliff gets out of bed and stretches.

Professor Guinea Pig points to the door which is pretty big. "While you were asleep I had the building renovated to fit my bigger physique, everything for science!" He waves his hand and the door slides silently away into the wall. "Pretty cool?"

"Yeah, cool...I must have been in a really deep sleep to not hear any of the construction." Cliff's voice is tinged with exhaustion.

Professor Guinea Pig pats him on the head and uses his tail to grab him and set Cliff on his spider back "You comfortable? I have such sights to show you."

"Yeah..." Cliff's voice is filled with uncertainty as he holds onto Professor Guinea Pig.

Professor Guinea Pig makes his way to his lab. "Well here we are. You see I had a dream and I made it reality, what's your dream?" He points to Cliff.

"I don't know...I just want to make a living." Cliff's voice filled with a hint of resignation.

Professor Guinea Pig asked, "Anything else? With my money you have a stable income which will put you in the upper middle class, so what will be your next dream? You must have had some dream in your childhood or something." Professor Guinea Pig points at Cliff with a dramatic finger.

"When I was a child, I dreamed of being a superhero... but I guess I grew up."

Professor Guinea Pig smiles and pats him on the back "GREAT IDEA!!" He shouts in joy and hugs him tightly "Let's make that reality shall we?"

"How?" Cliff asked.

Professor Guinea Pig facepalms and sighs "If I can turn myself into a three species hybrid surely I can turn you into a superhero, how difficult can it be after all?" He shrugs and turns to the whiteboard on the wall, it's full of scribbles.
