Seeing CJ's friends suiting up for battle, Carly ran towards them, with Jangle following behind her. In all her life, Carly never felt so happy to them. Hugging Lily first, then the rest of the boys, she introduced them all to Jangle, who gave a sheepish grin and waved his hand.
Carly: Jangle was the one who helped me escape wherever Layla held me and Mom captive.
At the mention of Angela, Sam, Carter, and Lily looked around for her, but was nowhere in sight. They were very much puzzled on why she was with Carly and Jangle.
Bobby: Speaking of your mum, Carly, where is she?
Carter: Didn't you two get her out, as well?
Jangle made some sign language with his hands, which Carly translated his explanation.
Carly: He said, "We were about to, but her mom insisted we leave her behind, and to save ourselves. It's because those human occultists had discovered Carly was out of her imprisonment by me."
The four friends were shocked to hear this. They understood that Angela wanted to be left behind, for the sake and safety of Carly's life, but what would happen to her afterwards? Will Layla torture her as punishment, or what? They were all worried for Angela.
Sam: But... we'll git 'er back, right?
Carly: I promised that to her, and I intend to keep it.
Then, she finally noticed that CJ, Rachael, Octavia, Charlie, and Loona were not present. Their cars were, but...
Carly: Hey, where's CJ and the others?
Suddenly, they heard another explosion from within the music party area, which Jangle pointed at with his finger.
Carly: Uhhh... never mind.

Back in Hell, after seeing the first explosion on the stage, Vaggie packed every bladed weapons she can carry in a big bag. That includes her angelic harpoon, which she can summon mostly by her own doing. As soon as she was done packing, she immediately rushed through the lobby, when Angel Dust stopped her at the front door.
Angel Dust: Whoa, whoa, toots! Where're you goin'? You're missing out on the good stuff!
Vaggie: Out of my way! I'm going up there to help Charlie!
Angel Dust: C'mon. It's not like that pumpkin freak on a flying saucer's that tough. She'll manage!
Vaggie scowled at the spider demon. Clearly, she was not in the mood for discussion. She wanted to help Charlie not get killed on Earth.
Vaggie: If I don't go up there, Charlie might get hurt bad! I CANNOT let that happen!!
Then, she raised a dagger up to Angel's neck as a warning.
Vaggie: Now, are you gonna' step aside, or do I have to...
She then stop speaking, when she felt a familiar presence behind her. Alastor chuckled at this little spat, and Vaggie could only glare back at him.
Alastor: My dear, have you no trust in the Demon Belle? I'm pretty sure she can handle herself in a fight. There's no need to just rush in recklessly like a savage monster.
Hearing the Radio Demon's "reasoning" did have some merit in it. When Charlie is pushed to her limit, she can put up a good fight against anyone. But still, Charlie is a lover, not a fighter through and through. Which is why Vaggie should be there for her.
