Cherry Web Creation

I started the day in the new normal way by waking up hanging from the ceiling near the ground with my legs curled up to my chest and my arms just dangling, It's become a normal routine for Lily and I, before I go to sleep I put some web at my door to alert me if anyone opens the door so I wake up when Lily enters the room and am ready in a few minutes to head to school. It's been a whole month since I was bitten by the Spotted Orbweaver and i've been discovering new abilities, at first it was just being able to climb on solid surfaces and be quite flexible but after accidentally slipping off an alley wall I found out I could spew webs from my wrists which at first felt pretty uncomfortable but i've learned to get used to it and that's how I found out about my newest ability, I can hang upside down with no issues which is great though Lily and I are trying to figure out how the hell this happened we've kept it on the down low and no one else knows my family and friends just find it weird how i've become so flexible without feeling any pain like I used to. After arriving at school and going through my first two classes I went to lunch with Lily or that was the plan but while we were walking an announcement came up stating that a villain was on campus and for everyone to find a safe place to hide making us run towards our last class hoping that the teacher wouldn't keep us out when sand was thrown at Lily and then she was gone from beside me making me stop in shock as I heard her scream "LILY" I yelled seeing the sand drag her away and with barely any thoughts I followed running past people to get to her, when I got to her she was being held captive with some other students I didn't recognize and they were being held by a man made of sand which was weird but I quickly hid from his view as I tried to figure out how to save her with my webs. Once I figured out a plan I grabbed a mask from my bag that Lily told me to keep on me incase I ever needed to 'become a superhero' were her words which is good because right now I was gonna become one, setting up a web slingshot to throw my backpack to distract him and put on my mask waiting for the right moment before letting it swing and running in to take him down, I sent a web for Lily but he already saw me and sent sand blasting into me pushing me to the ground "trying to play hero" he said using the sand to pull me closer as I fought and struggled against the density of it or him it's hard to tell sand and him apart "not going to say anything bug?" he questioned taunting me as all villains do and then a backpack went flying into his face destroying it for a second and apparently his hold on a few of us as the others ran away I tried to get others out of his grip but by that time he had regained his composure and went to grab me but this time I noticed it without even looking and shot a web up pulling me to the main building not too far away the sand quickly following causing me to have to run around swinging and making a big web of the school trying to figure out a weak point because everyone has one it's just harder to find someone's when their made of sand. After a while of shooting webs at him and creating a thick web the police finally showed up to take care of him or so I thought, the polices arrival just made him angrier as he just threw sand everywhere causing people to fall down and breaking windows and then he started a sand tornado with Lily and others at the center. Eventually a policeman grabbed a flamethrower that they apparently brought and was able to stop the sand tornado and him as he ran off while I ran into the piles of sand left looking for Lily and pulling everyone out but her until I found her, "lily!?" I said shocked about all the burns on her, apparently she took the brunt of the flame thrower "oh my god...." I said desperately looking for a pulse but there was none "LILY!!" I screamed crying as I pulled her closer to me and then I quickly looked behind me "hey kid..." said the officer behind me obviously shocked at all this but before he could continue his thoughts I got up and ran to the main building and swung up with my webs quickly getting away from it all. The next day it was all over the news, from the others testimonies it was found that Lily was trying to talk to Sandman and calm him down from doing anything rash even during the sand tornado she was talking to him and due to that and the autopsy her death wasn't from the severe burns on her body but she swallowed a lot of sand causing her to suffocate and die. That day I realized how awful this world could be and how more awful villains were so I decided that day to become the hero Lily would want, the hero that fought bad guys and saved lives just like hers, before her death Lily had created a blueprint of my hero outfit so I quickly got to work on getting it from her room before her mom went through anything and then six months and a lot of money later I had finally finished my costume it was brutal and so hard to make as I have no prior experience with making anything during that time I listened to the reports on me, Lily and what happened to the school and soon other villains. I will be debuting as Cherry Web soon, I think i'll start with the serial robberies.
