Brave'Leap snuck over the twoleg bridge with her claws unsheathed. Her claws picked the splinters from the wood as she crossed until her claws touched the sandy pebble path into fourtrees. She glared at the bushes and trees surrounding her.. She was waiting for someone.
The sky was clear and showed the deep blue dark of the night and the spotlight of stars and the quarter moon. The wind was steady but chill.

Brave'Leap took a step forward and crouch as she heard the bushes rustle.

Out leapt a black and white she-cat with her claws unsheathed as well. She bounded into the sky like a magpie, her teeth bared and spit weaving a web between her jaw and muzzle. Brave'Leap darted forward for a couple of paw steps and then launched herself into the air like a bird ready to stab her prey from above them. She rammed her head into the rival she-cat's stomach, only for her tail to be grabbed.

The both of them fell with a thud upon the sandy pebble path. They scrambled to their paws and then faced one another with pupils thinned into slits. They growled at each other in a stare down, circling like vultures until the rival she-cat rose her head to look down at Brave'Leap.

"You're getting rusty at keeping your tail out of grasp!" She chuckled and teased as she pawed Brave'Leap's forehead. Brave'Leap growled and shook her head.

"Shut up, Jump'Leap!" Brave'Leap hissed in a flustered voice. The two she-cats sat up and groomed their pelts for a quiet moment filled only by nightly cricket songs. Brave'Leap then smirked and looked at Jump'Leap. "Bet you couldn't jump all the way to that tree branch!" She pointed to a high up branch.

"I bet I can!" Jump'Leap bounded over to the tree. She first leapt onto the side of the tree for leverage and then jumped onto the branch with grace. Brave'Leap huffed and bounded forward, and with one big jump, she managed to snag her claws onto the branch and awkwardly haul herself up.
