A Week Of Valentine

Rose Day 🥀

It was a beautiful sunny day in a small town on the outskirts of Hoenn. Ash and his Hoenn gang had stumbled upon a town where Valentine's Day celebrations were in full swing. The streets were lined with vibrant decorations, and the air was filled with love and excitement. Ash couldn't help but feel a flutter in his heart.

As they explored the town, Brock continued to hit different girls from time to time they were in the middle of the festival Ash was eating a special strawberry rose flavour ice cream.

When the host said on the mic " Well Loveheart town people as you all may know that today is rose day So we held a small competition here whoever boy or girl gets the most amount of roses throughout the day gets a very special surprise gift from us and also you can't cheat "

Ash's ears perked up when he heard a surprise gift "Wow we can get a surprise gift just by collecting roses"

Max sighed and replied "You don't need to collect someone will give you the rose that will count Ash "

"I seriously didn't understand whatever you said " Ash innocently scratched his head all of a sudden May yelled

"Drew!" May called out, waving enthusiastically. "Long time no see!"

Drew turned around, a hint of surprise on his face before he broke into his usual smug face "May. Good to see you here !"

His hand is already filled with five roses as he flips his hair slightly.

Ignoring May's babbling his eyes followed the Kanto trainer who was eating his ice cream.

" So do you guys in this competition and what about you, Ash," Drew said mischievously.

Ash and Drew never talk that much but when Drew said Ash's name something weird felt in Ash's chest.

" I want to and I also want to see the surprise gift," Ash said

" it seems like you already got the head start Drew," Brock said jealously. He looked away crossing his arms on his chest.

Drew looked at the roses in his hand and shrugged. "I appreciate these roses but they meant nothing to me".

"So I will take my leave" Drew walked off Rosellia following him.

"If Drew is in this competition then I am in it too," May said eyes burning with passion.

The other three sighed even Pikachu because it's nothing new.

May sighed. One hour passed and no one gave her a Rose. Ash and Max, were playing different games in the stall and were walking towards May with small prizes like charms.

"May are you okay" Ash patted her shoulder sitting beside her on the bench.

"Come on May someone will give you a rose in no time" Max also joked to make her happy.

"Where is Brock by the way?" Ash looked around. May merely points toward the Pokemon Center where Brock is chatting with Nurse Joy.

Ash got an idea and got up and came running back holding a yellow rose "Here"

May looked confused and pointed at herself. Ash nodded "Yellow rose for friendship and yellow rose also counts in the competition"

May smiled "Thank you, Ash". May got her first rose and she seemed to be happy.

Time passes. May got around 6 roses.

A few girls also gave a rose to Ash. Max was shocked that a dense Ash could get roses too.

Ash had now 7 roses in total but they weren't enough to win.

"Come on Ash. The fact you even got roses is a miracle. Don't sulk" Max muttered huffing.
