"Y un día pasaron por allí
Los ojos de una niña,
Que le habían robado al cielo el brillo de dos estrellas."
It was a crisp spring morning when I arrived at our usual training spot, unaware of the profound effect I had on Piccolo. As I approached him, his usually stern expression softened, and for a brief moment, I saw a glimmer of vulnerability in his eyes.
"Good morning, Piccolo," I greeted him with a warm smile, oblivious to the turmoil in his heart.
"Good morning," he replied, his voice more gentle than usual.
For weeks now, Piccolo had been struggling to come to terms with the changes our growing connection had wrought in his life. He had always been a warrior, solitary and self-reliant, but my presence had chipped away at his resolve, revealing the depth of his emotions.
As we began our training, Piccolo's movements were fluid, his focus unwavering. Yet, his eyes kept straying toward me, as if drawn by an invisible force. It was as though he couldn't resist stealing glances, trying to capture the essence of the girl who had found her way into his heart.
During a momentary pause in our sparring, I noticed the intensity of his gaze and asked, "Piccolo, is something on your mind?"
He hesitated for a moment, torn between the warrior's stoicism and the newfound emotions that stirred within him. Finally, he spoke, his voice tinged with vulnerability. "Your presence...it has changed something in me. I find myself drawn to you in ways I never thought possible."
I met his confession with understanding and a smile. "Piccolo, change is a part of life. It's what makes us grow and discover new aspects of ourselves."
He nodded slowly, absorbing my words. "I've spent so long believing that solitude was my only path, but your presence has shown me that there can be beauty in connection."
We continued our training, but from that day forward, there was a subtle shift in Piccolo's demeanor. He began to open up more, sharing his thoughts and feelings, even if it was in his own reserved way.
As the seasons passed, our bond deepened, and Piccolo's heart slowly unfurled like the petals of a blossoming flower. He had come to appreciate the light that my presence brought into his life, a light that had been missing for far too long.
The radiant sparkle in my eyes, which had captivated him from the very beginning, had become a guiding star in his world, illuminating the path to a new chapter in his life—a chapter filled with connection, understanding, and the possibility of love.
