Adam walks through the halls, clutching onto his bag as he walks. He's on his way to the cafeteria for lunch. He enters the cafeteria and looks for the ducks table.
"Hey Banksy!"
Adam turns to where the voice came from and spotted Charlie waving at him, Charlie sitting with the other ducks. Adam smiles and walks towards the table, sitting down next to Charlie.
"Hey Man, what's up?"
Adam says, his mood lightening up. He hangs his bag on his chair as he glances at Charlie.
"Nothing much, how was your classes so far?"
Charlie asks, handing a soda to Adam before grabbing one for himself. Charlie opens it and takes a sip from it.
"A pain, I got sat next to Hilary Turner in 3rd period. She somehow never shuts up but I don't got the guts to tell her to stop talking, ill just feel bad afterwards."
Adam says as he opens his soda.
"Man that sucks, if Jesse was here he would've told her for you."
Charlie say before sipping his soda once again. Adam frowned a bit, he forgot Jesse didn't go to Eden Hall. He missed Jesse a lot and now even more since Jesse is his boyfriend. Jesse got sent to Military school in Oregon by his dad due to his attitude problem.
"Im sure Jesse will come visit in the summer, Adam. I mean does write you letter a lot, no doubt he'll visit."
Connie butted in, attempting to lighten up Adam's mood. She smiled reassuringly at him.
"I guess so."
Adam says, smiling back a bit at Connie. Adam thinks of all the good moments He and Jesse had. Hand Holding while skating around the park, Ice cream dates, more dates at Mickeys diner, A trip to the Lake up in Northern Minnesota, Carnival dates and more. He got so lost in thought he didn't hear Charlie calling his name.
"Banksy!"
Charlie said in a somewhat loud tone, finally catching Adam's attention.
"Shit, sorry what?"
Adam says, looking at Charlie.
"Close your eyes, Charlie and I got you something!"
Connie says with a smile. Adam raise an eyebrow but closes his eyes. Adam wonders what the surprise is. Adam suddenly feels arms wrap around his neck.
"Open your eyes.."
A familiar voice whispered into his ear. Adam open his eyes and glanced behind him.
"Jesse?"
Adam said, feeling shocked, surprised, and happy all at once. Jesse smiled and Kissed Adam's cheek.
"Hey Cake eater."
