fantastic foursome at Hogwarts

It was my birthday my eleven birthday, I woke up that day as happy as I could be and ran down the stairs in to the living room where my mum and dad were watching tv.

"Morning!" I shouted as I walk up to them to give them both a hug and smile

"Hey princess why are you so happy today?" my dad smiled

"Oh I think it's my birthday today Dad" he laughed

"Oh really I thought it was tomorrow" he smiled than laugh

"Dad!" I said crossing my arms and laugh

"Well Katharine tonight we will go out for dinner, you can take a friend who will that be?" asked my mum before I could say anything dad cut me off

"Why are you asking dear, you know what she going to say it will be that Phil boy from next door" Dad was right you see Phil is my best friend we have been friends since we were five years old.

"How can I forget about Phil, he is here like 24/7" my mum laughed I heard the door knock

"That will be Phil now" I said as I ran up to the door but when I opened it I wasn't met with Phil's blue eyes, I met with a green cloak I looked up to see a women wearing a hat that looked like a witches hat.

"Hello are you Katharine Everard?" I nodded at the woman and she smiled, my dad walked over

"Hello who are you?" he asked her

"Ah you must be Mr Everard, may I come in I must have a word with your daughter?"

"Look if she broke something, I will pay for it" honestly I break one window with a football once and he thinks I break everything

"No your daughter has done nothing wrong, all I want this to talk and give you this" she handed over a letter to me it was written in green ink, I look at the back and saw it had a red wax stamp with a H on it, I opened it to read it said

Dear Miss Everard

We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Please find enclosed list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on 1st September. We await your owl by no later than 31 of July.

I looked up at her with a confused face

"Ah so grandpa was telling the truth" I looked up at my dad as he smiled so he let her in and she started talking about the wizard world, dad told me his grandpa was something called a squid who is someone who is born with wizard parents but didn't get any powers, he said I was the first in years of the Everard to have magic.

"Um miss..." She stopped me

"Call me professor Mcgonagall"

"Um professor Mcgonagall the letter said We await your owl by no later than 31 of July, but I don't have owl" she smiled at me

"Don't worry Miss Everard.." Before she could say other word the door knocked again I got up and told her I would be a minuet and walked over to the door and this time I was met with blue eyes the ones I know very well.

"Morning birthday girl" he smiled big with the cheeses smile

"Morning Phil" Mcgonagall walked up behind me

"Hello Phillip, how are you and your mother doing?"

"Minerva what are you..." He looked at her for a bit than looked me, he looked really happy.
