After School

Satoko was talking to Neko. They chatted for a bit while Satoko talked about all about how she missed her mother.

That's when Neko said as he checked his watch, "Oh no. It's already a bit late? You should go pick up your sister or your dad will kill your." Satoko 'in a panic' said, "Oh shoot your right! I gotta go to the preschool and pick up Risa." She speeds off to the preschool as Neko shouted and waved, "See you later Satoko!"

Satoko speeds all the way there. She and Risa were born the fastest girls alive (just like their parents). She and Risa are pronounce (to the town) the daughters of Sonic The Hero considering he is the hero of Mobius. Some think they're the future heroes along with Baby Maddox others call them lucky to be Sonics daughters.

Once Satoko arrived, she sees Risa looking around the school. Satoko shouted out for her. Risa sees her and said, "Sister!" She runs to her before the two headed for Wedding Runners. Luckily it wasn't too far from the preschool.

Wedding Runners was almost ready to be closed for the day. Scourge started a conversation that has happened since Dr. Eggman died from the final battle.

Sonic, Fiona, and Fan nodded in agreement. Scourge then said as Satoko and Risa entered, "Well things are very wild. But when Einstein died, every single thing went to Einsteins freaky daughter. Including all the shopping industry's. It was mentioned in his will." Fiona turns to Sonic and said, "I didn't know Eggman was married." Sonic replied to her, "He wasn't. She is an artificial intelligence."

That's when Fang joked around as he said, "I guess he was too lazy to get married and have actual children mate." The adults laughed. The two girls rushed to her father as Sonic sees them. They said, "Dad!" They giggled before Sonic said, "Hey there you two."

Rokuta 'who just finished up the floral designs' walks to them with Hoku and said, "Well if it isn't my two out of three nieces." Risa greeted them, "Hi Uncle Rokuta. Hi Uncle Hoku." Thats when Hoku said, "Risa Royale. Is that you? You have gotten tall."

Risa replied to him, "I sure have Uncle Hoku." She giggled. Satoko asked her father if they were early. But Sonic said, "No, I'm just about to close up for today. Anyways, how's school?" Risa replied with a smile, "Great." Satoko also answered, "It was okay." Sonic replied to them, "Well that's good to hear."

<just after Wedding Runner closed for today>

Sonic waved goodbye to his colleagues and brother-in-laws as his daughters got into the car. Scourge walked off to his apartment and said, "See you in the morning blue!" Once Sonic got into the car, he drove off.

During the drive home, he kept thinking about today. Thinking when Knuckles showed up after 11 years. He felt upset and showed it. He thought why was Knuckles talking to him as if the divorce and the fighting didn't happen? It just only upset him most.

Though Satoko's voice reeled him back into reality as she said, "Dad, are you okay? You look stress. Did something happened at work?" Sonic didn't have any intention in telling his daughters what happened.

He never told them about his first marriage or Knuckles himself. He lied to them, "I'm fine Satoko. Daddy's been having a stubborn client today." Satoko raised a brow but she shrugged and looked at the window. Though Sonic hated lying to his daughters but he didn't want them to know his heartache from long ago.
