y/n sat in her classroom, fully engaged as her Spanish teacher, Ms. Rodriguez, noted down the homework for tomorrow. The air in the classroom felt a bit stuffy, making it hard to concentrate.

Feeling a bit confused, she leaned over to her best friend, bsf/n, and whispered, "I'm having trouble understanding this. Can you lend me a hand?"

bsf/n leaned in closer and replied, "Sure, but only if you promise to save me a seat at lunch!" They both giggled quietly.

Suddenly, their laughter caught the attention of their teacher. With a serious expression, Ms. Rodriguez scolded, "y/n, no talking during class!"

Feeling a bit defiant, y/n retorted, "But I wasn't the only one talking! Look around... Why am I the only one getting scolded?"

The classroom fell silent as the teacher's eyes narrowed. "y/n, that's enough. If you can't follow the rules, maybe you should take a break outside," she suggested, sounding a bit frustrated.

y/n huffed, grabbed her bag, and headed to the corridor outside the classroom. Leaning against the wall, she took in the view, appreciating the sunlight streaming through the windows and the colorful posters on the walls.

y/n found herself lost in a daydream when suddenly, c/n, her charming senior and first crush, appeared with a mischievous smile. "Looks like you've gotten yourself into another adorable predicament," he playfully remarked.

With a playful eye-roll, y/n responded, "Says the one who was already out here, being effortlessly cool."

Chuckling, c/n leaned against the wall next to her. "I couldn't resist the allure of this corridor, where all the cool kids gather," he joked, giving her a gentle nudge.

Feeling more at ease in his presence, y/n smiled and quipped, "Well, lucky for me, I got to join the cool kids club then."

He dramatically rolled his eyes. "Oh yes, you're the epitome of coolness."

Playing along, y/n smirked and replied, "Absolutely."

After a pause, c/n's expression softened. "No, but seriously, y/n. You've always been cool in my eyes."

Trying to brush off the compliment, y/n said, "Oh, come on, c/n. You're just saying that to make me blush."

Grinning, he nudged her shoulder. "I mean every word, y/n. You're absolutely amazing."

Keeping the conversation light, she replied, "Okay, okay, I'll take your word for it." c/n chuckled, seeing through her teasing act.

"Alright, alright, I'll ease up on the compliments for now. How about I lighten the mood with a joke?" he suggested, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

y/n's tense shoulders relaxed, a smile forming on her face. "Sure, hit me with your best joke," she replied, intrigued.

c/n cleared his throat, trying to contain his laughter. "Why don't scientists trust atoms? Because they make up everything!" he said, unable to hold back his amusement.

y/n couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. "Cheesy," she said, trying to hide her amusement,

c/n noticed her reaction and grinned. "Nah, My jokes always have an undeniable charm."

"Okay, fine. It was a bit funny," she admitted, her smile widening.

"I knew I could crack you up," he said, playfully flexing his comedic muscles.

y/n rolled her eyes, "Oh please, don't get too cocky now," she teased, playfully nudging him.

c/n laughed, pretending to be offended. "Hey, I'm just getting started! I've got a whole repertoire of jokes up my sleeve," he said, wiggling his eyebrows mischievously.

y/n chuckled, intrigued. "Alright, let's hear another one. Impress me with your comedic genius," she challenged, eager to see what he would come up with next.

"Nah, never mind. I don't want this one to fall flat and give you the chance to make fun of me," he teased, poking fun at himself.

y/n laughed, shaking her head. "Oh, come on! I promise I won't roast you too hard. Give it a shot!" she encouraged, wanting to share more lighthearted moments with him.

Their laughter echoed through the hallway, catching the attention of Mrs. Thompson, who happened to pass by. Seeing her, they quickly moved apart, their faces turning slightly red. As they took a step back, they realized just how close they had been standing to each other.

"Hey, Mrs. Thompson, just passing by." He made a quick exit before she could respond. On his way out, he flashed a small smile and winked at y/n. She couldn't help but blush, smiling back.

Mrs. Thompson raised an eyebrow and said, "You're supposed to be studying. Get back to class!" y/n, nodded and quickly made her way back into the classroom, hoping to avoid any further attention.

As she sat at her desk, feeling a bit flustered, bsf/n grinned and teasingly asked, "What were you doing out there?" y/n whispered, "Just a little mix-up." bsf/n winked and said, "Sure, sure. Tell me all the deets later!" y/n chuckled and nodded.

Sitting in class, her mind drifted back to the hallway, their conversation replaying in her thoughts. y/n let out a soft sigh, realizing she still had lingering feelings for c/n.
